SLR 8" SBR build done. Just waiting for a few accessories (sling end plate, AAC Blast Shield, Cloud Defensive LCS, and an actual working ScoutLight head) and repairing my BTC Spectre, but otherwise al

Hey all! I kind of stumbled upon this thread by accident while searching for M16A2 receiver markings on google and saw one of Catgut's amazing VT's. Which brought me here I have been working on

One of my latest build, a real Colt M16A1 converted for GBBR on the WA system. Stripped upper, barrel and BCG was changed to Viper Tech du to my local laws. Also a video of how it was made:

My GHK M4.

Gonna use this for my PMC kit mainly.
Ive decided to use mostly BCM parts for it. Gonna get as many real steel parts as possible.

Waiting for a BCM stock and KMR rail to arrive!

Currently it has a dytac KMR replica rail but real steel clamps and cross bolts :P The dytac ones are made from a very soft material so I had to change them.

Other real steel parts:
BCM Gunfighter charging handle

BCM Gunfighter MOD 3 pistol grip
BCM Gunfighter KAG front grip
BCM trigger guard

BCM QD Endplate
BCM Keymod panels

Other things on it:
PTS MBUS flip up sights
PTS Stock
Big Dragon AAC M4-2000 flash hider and suppressor(Has all the proper markings on it)
G&P anti rotation links
Holosun HS403GL Red dot sight.

Internals are all stock GHK except for a captain america hop unit.

Im very happy with the internals of this gun, haven't changed anything other than the hop since I got in august 2014!

Ok...so I ended up not going with the VFC Mk18 that I was originally going to get, and somehow ended up in the possession of a G&P colt MBK...but GBB based!

So.....if anyone on here can message me who happens to be familiar with G&P/WA GBB series as I'm going to just build finally a GBB and could use some help sourcing certain parts so as to put together a block 1&2 configuration. ANY help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys! :D

Its an aeg body, gas block is a king arms one, I just liked the look of.

The gas piston and tube shouldn't fit that handguard, I modified the back of it and the locking ring to accept it, fits in the rail perfectly.

Just seemed right, it doesn't do anything apart from look different and pin the handguard even more firmly in place, the gas plug even rotates as it would for different gas flow settings.

Guess I just like the added detail, seemed fitting

Is that a reversed Larue RCO mount under that "Ring" sight? Very cool.

Indeed it is, a LC-7-40, shame the internal light source has decayed but rugged and low tech otherwise. Design needs a little tweak to catch more light forward and profile is a bit low without a rail riser, but my preferred alternative to cheap red dots that don't zero.

Ah, that aluminum illumination block, I'm cheap so I made my own version:

I'm also looking to illuminate the T reticle but it looks like it doesn't benefit too much from optic fiber.

It would be cool if the reticle is dual color'd.

Pity I didn't order extra one or two for taking it apart, just saw someone on ARFcom linked this.
