Azubi
What sort of game? Filmsim? Milsim? Average skirmish? What will the kit restrictions be? Ammo limits? period correct kit only? Will it be a single day or a weekend? Will the game stop for dinner and/or night time? What sort of area will the game be played in? How big? What sort of terrain? Estimate of a price? LordElpus
will it be bloody freezing and/or wet?

Estimate of a price? hopefully weekend, probably filmsim. with regards to kit they wont be that strict, DPM (modern accepable)+ OG webbing, Plain OG for argies there maybe hire kit Terrain, we are looking for a relatively treeless site but hilly to provide cover around 80 acres ammo limits, could possiably be maybe around the 600 mark weapons, maybe hire again however M16s/M4's with no RIS wold be fine as most people dont have SLR's any weapon that existed in the 80s should be fine even if it wasnt used in the conflict, AK's ect and probably a stop for the night dinner/sleep although a nightgame is possible will it be bloody freezing and/or wet? I dont control the weather.... http://z15.invisionfree.com/smallwarsairsoft/index.php?act=idx go for info on falklands kit, and info about other small wars
-Angel-
If you're being that sparing with the kit restrictions it may as well just be a cold war game. Josh at Gunman runs them on a semi-regular basis with good attendance from brits in smocks and OD's with SLRs. Plus its easier to gather opposition when you can pick a couple of different kits for minimal cost (DDR or soviet).

Argie kit can be obtained cheaply as well, and everything has to start somwhere, OD a cheap US M1 helemet, then any gun would make it very differnt that the cold war games josh runs
Azubi
Stick up a decent scenario with a set of restrictions and rules. At the moment it just seems like an idea and to generate the interest and allow people to decide if it is what they want to attend, you'll have to provide some more solid information regarding the event. Azubi
That's what I am saying though, unless you lay down the initial framework, you will most probably struggle to get a good indication of interest.

GhostWolf
Most British kit will be easy to find, DMS Boots, DPM Combats or DPM Jacket and Lightweight Trousers, Puttee's, Green Shirt, Army Green Jumper, Beret and badge of your choice "Most units did not where the old metal helmets", 58 Pattern Webbing, and yes I have worn all of it for many years lol...
