l96ninja
I just received my Harris bipod and hooked it up to my L96, but am having a problem. When I shoot the gun w/o the bipod, no springy sound, but when it's attached, SPRINGY SOUND GALORE! Can anyone tell me how to secure it so that the vibrations don't carry into the springs on the bipod? I already tightened everything down well, so that can't be it.
SteevoLS
Try putting a layer of electrical tape (or similar) around the spring. I've silenced the "boing" noise from a gearbox spring by putting tape around the inside of the spring; the same concept might work with this bipod.
