Reppyboyo
Couple of new bits popped up on CWI. The ROF upgrade kit, apparently adjustable: http://www.bbdragon.com.tw/product_info.php/products_id/2912/Twesid/ef1c1f0e46de72d803f6f3e12b1f2139 The NSU flash hider: http://www.bbdragon.com.tw/product_info.php/products_id/2914

Reppyboyo
Groovy, will come in handy when I attempt to pull my trigger box apart.
Wingmann
And then spend a whole day filling down Ra-Tech parts to fit them .... Purchase from RA-Tech directly, with all the bells and whistles already installed.
danielsilva
Purchase from RA-Tech directly, with all the bells and whistles already installed. I've had to re-fit everything more than one time on replicas that came from RAT, not complaining though ... more work and thus € for me !

Reppyboyo
Anyone know if AEG front ends fit fine? Considering a wood kit or the LCT quad rail system.
Bjerhof
That AK looks very nice and the full travel bolt sounds awsome. I personally would have prefered the 74M model...fingers crossed, maybe they'll release one at some point.
Reppyboyo
Word of warning, unsurprisingly the screws are made of cheese also. Had two round on me already. The current one being the grub screw holding the selector paddle in which I cannot currently get out. :-/ Typically the RA-Tech steel parts arrived today.
NonEx
Try jamming in a similarly sized hex-tool in the grub screw, give it a tap with a small hammer to secure it and then unscrew to remove it. Should work. Edited November 11, 2011 by NonEx
LordElpus
or superglue on the end of the allen key, let it dry then try unscrewing
Reppyboyo
Tried both, no dice. Having to resort to drilling. fun fun.
danielsilva
Try using a similarly sized torx drive.
rvlyssup
@Reppy, are the replacement parts offered as an entire trigger group too? I take it you got the pieces separately...I can't seem to find the link for these parts off RT's website. Edited November 11, 2011 by rvlyssup
Reppyboyo
Yea there is the entire set, straight from here: http://www.airsofttaiwan.com/goods.php?id=

NonEx
Outch, I feel for you man... Horrible situation to end up in :-| im guessing you need to match the drillbit almost exactly to the screw and even then there will be residue jamming the parts together. Maybe just dremel the parts to pieces ?
Reppyboyo
It would appear the metal has smoothed out where I was drilling, so the bit has nothing to bite down on. Would rather avoid a dremel job but looks like it may go that way.
Reppyboyo
Got it all together finally. Appears the hammer needs a little filing as it catches on the trigger box about mid way. Leaving it alone will cause light striking or venting.

Reppyboyo
I hope so, fingers crossed I should be skirmishing it tomorrow.

Bane
anybody else starting to think there is weight to the rumors that WE make the guns with pure *suitcase* for internals just so RATECH can skim the profits off the aftermarket bits? Why doesent WE just spend that extra $50-60 ontop of the price of the gun and put decent *suitcase* inside it so you dont get these kind of breakages
