wolfgeorge
You can always drill and tap you stock mags to accept a CO2 rig. That way you get and fps control!! Wolf
simmon
I was thinking about performance of the gat with CO2 rather than the mag itself. I suppose that's a thought. What's entailed in doing it and what roughly are the costs?
wolfgeorge
About $120 per mag plus the 12g CO2 cartridge. Wolf
simmon
sounds like its not worth the effort - Ares are shipping a CO2 mag now - hence the original question. I was wondering if anyone had used one and if it was any good
The Bushman
The ARES co2 mag will have no regulator, so won't be as stable as an external rig. Some rigs have 2 reg's to try and gain better consistancy. You need consistancy on a bolt action rifle, more than just raw power. Good Hunting
