I've only received my Gindan pistol, and while it is pathetically underpowered, it's still immense fun to monkey around with and I have half a mind to mod one similarly in this fashion. Already purchased more pistols, at least one likely to go under the knife. There are other freaky mods by other people (usually in Japan) utilizing the Gindan as well. BigAl Posted November 12, 2011 Report Share Posted November 12, 2011 The mag would be too long and also theirs the tighter tolerances needed when working with gas. The original needed to be loaded and cocked before each shot anyway, so this is more realistic. Though really it shouldn't have a mag, the original stored rounds in the grip but had to be hand loaded for each shot. Link to post Share on other sites

renegadecow Posted November 13, 2011 Author Report Share Posted November 13, 2011 Didn't the MkII upwards have a working feeding magazine? That's what I've read about at least. I've been thinking up of ways to make a MKII myself from a springer pistol but the mechanism gets pretty complicated or too big. This one fits perfect although turns into a DAO semi-auto.
