Redshirt 1-7
Howdy! I'm having some difficulty finding a set of "CAR-15" type handguards, the old style ones from the 60s that were in use on all Colt carbines up until the M4s started being issued. They're notably thinner than M4 handguards and grip easier. This is all I've found so far, and I'm not sure if it's the right type: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B004O6IKPI/ref=asc_df_B004O6IKPI1790795?smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER&tag=nextagus0023323-20&linkCode=asn&creative=395093&creativeASIN=B004O6IKPI If these are not it, where could I find some? I've seen plenty of real-steel ARs equipped with them, so I know they've got to be out there somewhere. Additionally, I've been lead to believe that it's possible a set of them may not fit at all; I have a VFC M4, real-style delta ring. Will a set of CAR handguards fit it, and if not, are there any DIY mods that can fix a potential issue? Thanks.

P.S.I.
XM177 handguards are slightly longer than those for an M4. It's not a huge difference, but just enough that they won't fit w/o modification. M733 handguards are the same story.
