FireKnife
Fire Emblem worth it then? I'm looking for something portable with all this distance i'm covering on public transport. Where should I start? Yes, yes and did I mention yes. If it is your kind of game it will hook you in and the fact you can play in casual and classic mode really makes it all the better for it. As for where to start well that depends. There is the 2DS but that will need it's own bag or case to fit in as it is rather chunky but it is also the cheapest. The 3DS and 3DS XL are soon (as in Jan / Feb soon) to be replaced by new models and if you can hold out until then they would be the better option as they are new, higher battery capacity and will have some exclusive games. Best bet is to go Nintendo and buy games that are going to pull you in. There are about 10 or so games that hold there price and can give hours and hours of gameplay if they are your thing. As for my happy day, it is lunch time soon and I remembered to bring the 2DS. Too excitied to work. 'FireKnife'
FTZ-WildeCard
Waiting for Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor to turn up. Wasn't even looking forward to it until about a week ago. Arkham Asylum style combat is what sold it to me, everything else is gravy! Hope it's as good as it looks. :-)
DrAlexanderTobacco
The Nemesis system is faaaaaaaantastic. Definitely worth it
Hardcore1-6
And here I was trying not to spend all money possible on airsoft/xboxone/porn and you sell 3DS to me for Zelda/Pokemon/FireEmblem funs.
FireKnife
And here I was trying not to spend all money possible on airsoft/xboxone/porn and you sell 3DS to me for Zelda/Pokemon/FireEmblem funs. You don't need money for porn, it is widely available on the internet for free. You don't need to buy a XBone as they are horrendously over-priced fro what you are getting. What you need to do is go buy a 2/3DS, get SSB, Fire Emblem, Pokemon X/Y and AS/OR, either or both Zeldas, Mario Kart 7, Super Mario 3D Land, Resi Revelations and the updated MGS3. You can easily get 50hrs out of Pokemon if you do everything (and then do it again differently for another 50hrs), about 20hrs out of MK7 or SM3DL and even more out of Fire Emblem and SSB. In fact the first time you see a critical strike in Fire Emblem you will be hooked (I was). Now go, buy one, the consoles can be had on eBay of peanuts and the white XL model with pre-installed Super Mario 3D Land can be had for dirt cheap. 'FireKnife'
Hardcore1-6
What is this internet you speak of?Also, screw you work, i'm off to eBay to buy things I don't really need. Like Lego. And games 'aimed' at 'children'.
scorch
Still never played Pokemon.
FireKnife
What is this internet you speak of? Also, screw you work, i'm off to eBay to buy things I don't really need. Like Lego. And games 'aimed' at 'children'. Pfft, some of the so called 'childrens games' are better than most of the 'adult' ones I have played. Still never played Pokemon. I would say you are missing out but it is one of those things that is either your thing or not. Give the latest ones a hour or two (especially trading) and see how you get on. EDIT: Well that was two quick rounds of SSB. Damn that is an awesome game, even better when you randomise everything like stages and characters. Still got it as Marth it seems. ollie_ty
Still never played Pokemon. Unless you're socially awkward, I'd say it's not worth playing. Unless you grew up with it and then phased out when you started noticing girls, you'll never get into it.
Skarclaw
Unless you're socially awkward, I'd say it's not worth playing. Unless you grew up with it and then phased out when you started noticing girls, you'll never get into it. I did hear a tale of a guy wearing 8 "pokewalkers" who, upon questioning by a member of the opposite sex, told her that he worked with disabled children who couldn't use the pedometer function. In actual fact he was just really, really into pokemon. Made me giggle anyway.
Tw1tch
Might have a nice ASG AI .338 with extra mag on its way, for an awesome price. Now comes the looking at upgrades and extras, such as bipod, sling, possibly another mag or two (most milsims I've seen allow 150 rounds for snipers and to have a spare). Scope's already sorted. Hoping with some work to it I'll be back on the skirmish field sooner as I won't need to stress my ankle too much.
Tinkerton
I have crimpers, I have (wire) strippers, I have wiring connectors, I have wiring diagrams. LETS RIP THIS OLD ALARM SYSTEM OUT! Cue inspirational music, and a movie style montage with copious amounts of coffee, brow sweat wiping, and looking confused and sheets of paper.
Habakure
You left out the knowing nod, towards the end, and a high five to extenuate conclusion. Oh yeah. Found the first SpongeBob Squarepants lego set. Made my daughter smile, which still counts . . . . right?
Tinkerton
Nah, didn't miss it out. That's for the second montage after the first one ends with a long trailing shot of my holding sheets of paper in my hands going "WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!?"
Habakure
Ahhhhh. The classic; it didn't work, but I'll 'take it to the limit'. . . and now it works. Also, fist hitting table could be used to show progression (and helps keep the beat), the harder it hits, the longer you are from completion. See also, standing naked (back to camera of course) out in the wilderness shouting 'WWWWHHHHHHHHYYYYYYYYYY?!?!?!!??!'
amateurstuntman
Movie style montage with copious amounts of coffee, brow sweat wiping, and looking confused and sheets of paper. Oh yeah. Second montage. Always fade out in a montaaaage, if you fade out it seems like more time has passed in a montage, montage.
Tinkerton
Even Rocky had a montage! montage! Well, the old alarm is removed, the car fires and starts, except now my headlights don't work.... Oh well, I was hankering after an uprated headlight loom anyway, now I kind of need one... Plus I've not tested the horn (fnar). Now the replacement foam for the heaterbox has arrived I can rebuild that up and reinstall the dashboard. And test the rest of the circuits. and then remove the carpets to wash and dry them (covered with coolant at the moment) and then while the carpets out I can cut out the rotten bits of the sill and get patches welded on. PRODUCTIVE WEEKEND GO!
amateurstuntman
While you have the sills off you should install air jacks so you can change all your wheels from buttons on the dash a-la Taxi.
scorch
If you're wiring up at the front, may as well stick in a dixie horn.
amateurstuntman
Ooh ooh! Kev and Tracy sun strip.
Tinkerton
Stunt: Nah, keeping the original BBS wheels, they're sexy as all hell. Scorch: Would rather have weedy little horn that sounds like it's off a moped or something tbh, dixie horns are up there with exhausts made from dust bins on the Barry'o'meter. Stunt: No. Just... just no.
scorch
Barry'o'meter? I am unfamiliar with this term. I see Dixie horns as a multiplier. If you're a bit of a jeb end, you'll come across as a total jeb end with a dixie horn. But if you can pull it off... yeah, they cool. If I could fit one on my bike, I would. Tinkerton
http://www.barryboys.co.uk/phpBB2/ I've never been a fan. I'm all for odd horn sounds though, if i could find an affordable air horn from an HGV I'd install that in a heartbeat. Speaking of the Taxi film, we're talking about the good ones, right? the one with the 406?
scorch
Massive air horns can be had for about 20 quid including compressor.
