Mike_West
I started monkeying with the Rockstar Editor, now to put it to some practical use with help from Tink and Stunt. The thing is surprisingly capable, if fussy as all hell (it crashed at least five times when I was editing one particular shot).
shmook
I'm getting the Sony Xeperia XA2 Ultra. Was only released in February, so it's very new. Good specs for the money, cost under £380. I'm on my 4th Xperia phone, they are good handsets
Hedganian
Wifey has the XA Ultra, she's very happy with it.
Tw1tch
I seem to have acquired a TM 417 with a 7.62 AAC suppressor and three mags. Already got a spare Spectre to stick in it and going to set it up as a 450fps DMR setup. Now I've got to sort out a rig for it. Thinking the Mayflower 417 Recce rig and then getting some sort of rear panel for the rear of the rig.
Shriven
I'm happy that Arnies is still a thing and that I still recognise some of the faces in here!
Tinkerton
ITS SHRIVEN! HE'S ALIVE! HE'S being his usual rude self again. How rude.
Tw1tch
My TM SOPMOD has returned from "The Cage" with its Spectre fitted and its bloody snappy on the trigger.
sandstorm
Whee, had a decdnt 1-klik swim session again, which tells me I've recharged decently from the stress that came with the attempt at full time work and equivalent smount of study st same time. I actually might dare consider a hike in UK during summer vacation.
Tinkerton
Got a home brewing kit for my birthday. Absolutely cannot wait to get started but apparently its a lot easier on a gas stove, which I don't have until we move into our new house in June . Ideas for beer names, folks? shmook
Arnies Banhammer. Next question please.
sandstorm
I agree with shmook.
Tinkerton
now THATS a good idea!
scorch
Full grain kit?
shmook
I'll take 25% percent of the gross profit for that little gem, thanks!
sandstorm
You know, this could affect my travel plans for summer vacation... When'll the Banhammer be ready for consumption?
Tinkerton
Banhammer is a strong sounding name. Like, a porter or double IPA or something. Far beyond the humble beginnings of little old me. Maybe in a few years for Arniegeddon: Ressurection... Scorch: No idea, honestly, it's the Everyday IPA kit from Brooklyn Brewshop. Doesnt specify it's full grain, so probably not. TBH if this one is successful i'll start looking at flinging together my own recipes. I've got a document full of beer names waiting to be matched with beers...

scorch
Yeah, it's all grain. My next is gonna be an all grain brew. Just as soon as this pineapple wine is bottled for aging.
Cannonfodder80
Sandstorm, if you can pay a visit to the IWM site at Duxford near Cambridge. It may be a little expensive but you certainly get your moneys worth. Alternatively the RAF museum at Hendon is good (they're in the middle of a refit at the moment but there's still alot to see and entry is free)
amateurstuntman
The DnD campaign goes ahead at a pace. After last week's furious combat and level up, this week's session was focused on story-telling. My character has had some news that shook him to the bones, he has a location for his nemesis but she is up to no good and he can't get there fast enough to intervene. Plus there is another *suitcase* storm brewing closer at hand. Our DM is seriously committed.
sandstorm
A good DM and party who're not just there to mess around like nunch of competing fraternities makes for nice, long games. If the party is there to mess with each other can make for memorable last game...
shmook
Party who're. Fnar.
Tinkerton
Fnar. My character accidentally insulted an orc shaman, has slightly ostracised the rest of the party over a secret choice he has to make, and has bought the entire towns supply of throwing spears... Good fun.
amateurstuntman
Standing next to Peter makes Amos seem like a well-adjusted, sensible person.
