Schnitzel with noodles - what made you smile today?

I had a great time at fencing yesterday. Really starting to get a good feel for distances and actually doing something when I miss an attack instead of standing like a lemon waiting to get hit.

Also worked a fair amount of work related stress out, which is nice.

So I think I found the nicest policeman in the south..

Gave the mini the ultimate deep clean this afternoon after finishing my electrics course early. Literally wheels off, wheel arches off, bumpers off, rear quarter windows out etc, if it's easy to get off it came off. Cleaned the *suitcase* out of the thing and rebuilt it after a good polish with my new DA polisher (btw i bought another new power tool) and a couple of layers of wax, it's shining brighter than the sun now, I would happily eat off it if it wouldn't harm the car. It's nice weather and the tank is almost empty so I quickly nip to the garage to get some fuel so I can take wifey out for a nice weekend drive and on the way I get pulled over..

Whats wrong I'm thinking? It's just had MoT so I know all the lights are working and I wasn't giving it some so what could it be? Yeah.. I forgot to put the number plates back on DOH! Thankfully the guy was more interested in the mods to the car and could see I'd just done a proper deep clean he let me off and escorted me home. Even said he was disappointed he was on duty as he would've liked a ride.

I feel like a right idiot, what a rookie error. I guess I was lucky this guy was so understanding I could've had mr goodie three shoes doing everything by the book.

I've been off the canned energy drinks for six weeks now (I started drinking them again a while back) and I seem to be a less grumpy git for it. I'm hoping it's the sugar rush and crash as I've just received some Strike Force Energy that I'm keen on trying.

Also got my blood results back and don't have polycystic kidney disease. :)

Well done, those are full of you don't need 😃

Yeah but the Monster Rossi tastes so good.

But they did come with crashes. Tried my first Strike Force at 4AM this morning, was delicious (lemon flavour, like a still cloudy lemonade) and not tired at all atm

The Monster Hamilton is horrible. I'm not even sure what flavour they I tended it to be.

Monster Assault is my favourite. Tastes like Cola Cubes.

I'll agree on the Hamilton one, was excited to try it as I enjoyed the Rossi so much and was worried they would discontinue the Rossi.

Still going strong on this Strike Force, not feeling tired yet so 12 hours of amazement.

Picutres of the clean mini, at least, man!

I should have but I've since taken it out for a thrashing for lunch at a nice country pub with a gravel car park and now its pretty dusty :( Next time I clean it I'll get you another photo! Thankfully now it has a good couple of coatings of wax it will only need a quick snow foam/wash then a light wax reseal and some shiney spray and it'll be back to glorious shine. Maybe tomorrow.

On a side note, I finally drained the pit and dug out at least 2 inches of silt and 4 dead mice. It's now serviceable and im very happy.

On the good advice of our mutual friend Stunt, I had some Monster Ultra Violet the other day.

It's like a grapey vimto.

It was very, very nice.

Oh yeah, I tried some of that.

It was absolutely devine.

Due to Cryaotic diung a Vampyr playtrough, I restarted a Vtm: Bloodlines playrough, again. Unfinished 14yo game but still one of the best athmosoheric games I've ever played. The ambient sound is spot on, the Rpg element is nicely done except.for the shooting mechanic and I still find New stuff!

In a possible remake they completely need to revise the said shooting mech, looting mech, animations and general modernisering.

Love this game

Apparently it's supposed to be black grape.  I think it's alright but I've only had one can.  It kind of reminds me of root beer but you can't really get that in the UK too easily so my recollection might be a bit off.

Utterly pathetic people on the Internet find this 'not OK' . Who the *fruitcage* are they to dictate what toys a child plays with.  All because *fruitcage*wit adults can't be trusted with actual guns.  The anti gun hysteria in the UK has gotten pretty ridiculous.

Somehow I'm still functioning after sleeping four or five hours through insanely hot night, stormy weather in the morning and downing a Red Bull to kickstart the day.

I need a set of circular techy images for a video opening, though. Just so I can layer them and make them spin coaxially.

Royal kids get photographed playing with toy guns.

I think it's deplorable, I blame the parents.....terrible trigger discipline.

the worst thing imo is the article says he asked for a "toy police car" but in the picture of the letter to father christmas the word toy doesn't feature... so if he gets a toy police car they risk serious disappointment. also cop the other kids desert eagle

"not ok" is one of those (many) phrases that winds me up far too much haha. On a more serious note I think said "gun/knife situation" has been ppppretty overhyped. Looks like "drill music" is taking the heat for that so far so maybe we are ok
