Leaving Hong Kong in July and aiming to be back in the UK by September.

Now to look for jorbs. Anyone want to hire a special needs teacher, preferably around the Edinburgh area?

I imagine the latter option involving you crashing on random airsofter's couches in-between games, fixing everything under the sun at events, becoming a dashing rogue that melts the hearts of women and men alike, and establishing the largest collection of vodka bottles in the UK.

Sorry, I am not as witty as others here.  "Fires up the FK beacon"

Despite the madness of boredom, I did manage to watch a neat documentary earlier and find myself laughing at a few moments of war thunder videos from one of my favorite media personalities (mostly moments of hilarious one shot knock outs to said personality).

Haha I'll be honest I'm partial to either! Was a little short on the bacon front I will admit, but I've now got three Tough Mudder events this year so gotta be a bit sensible unfortunately!

That was actually three slices of bread.. the middle one had a hole cut out of it and the egg fried in the centre, was a kind of eggy bread mix up. Saw it online and thought I'd give it a go! TOP NOTCH!

Eggy in the basket. I made it after seeing it in V for Vendetta.

Oh Jesus, the secret third slice was a gamechanger.

I take back my mockery of the white bread deficit and bow to the win.

Each side gets a flagship, a heavy cruiser type and a bunch of escorts in the Fall of Reach starter.

So, it's based on the fall of Reach?

And the UNSC have a flagship?

It's based on the firestorm armada rules by spartan games (the guys who make dystopian wars)

Flagship is just the term for the ship the commander of the fleet is on. You need one for the purpose of measuring coherency and command radius for abilities

It also means you could have named commanders for extra points costs.

The flagship will probably be so.ething akin to the ship that the chief was based out of in halo 2 with admiral whatshisface who you rescue from a crashed ship.

The infinity heavy warship would probably be a good size for a capital class ship though.

Call me cruel, but I love telling customers that because they're too stubborn to read instructions they've cooked their battery and will not be receiving a replacement under warranty.

I can't remember what the class of the ship is but each has a massive ship, a slightly smaller one and a bunch of escort ships. Wayland games have it up for pre-order.

Definitely interested in picking up a set. Especially if they expand it.

Edit: Epoch and Marathon Heavy Cruisers for UNSC.

Pub manager told me one of our Shift Leaders got Duty Manager. Jokingly said to her that meant there was a Shift Leader position going, right?

I thought she ignored me but twenty minutes later she called me over while she was on lunch and told me to check if there was a SL vacancy up on the site when I got a moment and if there wasn't she'd get one created.

Onwards and upwards hopefully. I don't want to have to wear white shirts anymore...payrise would be nice too.

Capitol, carrion, cruiser, frigate, escorts is their usual labelling system.

I've an issue less about the names, more about the fact the fall of Reach (in the book, which was out long before the game) Reach is where the covenant first properly meet humanity, then royally *fruitcage* them up the *albartroth*. Thats why its the Fall of Reach, not the battle of Reach. They didn't have a hope in hell, let alone a handy capital ship in orbit.

I thought Harvest was the first contact, Reach falls quite into the human covenant war, but I get what your saying the UNSC fleet was utterly destroyed so its not really going to make a balanced game if its based on the fall of reach.
