hitmanNo2
Tink, I've been meaning to ask. What did you have to do regarding car insurance for the Ring? Do you have some temporary track insurance through a specialist or something?
Tinkerton
Tink, I've been meaning to ask. What did you have to do regarding car insurance for the Ring? Do you have some temporary track insurance through a specialist or something? eeen shurr ants? vat is dis een shur ants you are speekings of? I had none. That might be foolish, but most likely 98% of other people on the touristenfahrten days don't either. Despite the Nordschleife legally being a one way toll road, every single insurer I've ever read or heard about specifically excludes it. Track day insurers are either a: bloody expensive, b: don't cover it, or c: cover you and your car, but not third party damages like other people and their cars and damages to the track. The only insurance I had was to drive well but sensibly. And pray.

hitmanNo2
I'm sure I read Viper or someone was coming out with a grey line. You could always do that on the cheap to scratch that grey itch.
scorch
Maybe a viper lightweight with a bfg quad mp7 on it. Almost the same setup as I already have in coyote. Looking at the helikon clothing atm. Looks to be decently priced too.

scorch
I work in a plumbers merchant. We just had a German fella in on the trade counter. His exact words: "I'm looking for a new shower, not a regular shower though, it's a special one"
shmook
With water to gas adapter connection?
scorch
You say that, but about 14 years ago (first time I was in the industry) we had a German guy who had an outside water tap and wanted the fittings to take it to a gas hose so he could run gas to a tap and run his bbq of the mains gas. shmook
WOG valve?
scorch
No, he had a bib tap. Not only is that the wrong valve for many reasons, but the injectors on the bbq would be for lpg, and the house runs on natural gas. We told him no and sent him on his way.
shmook
Can you buy different injectors for a barbecue? Probably not, just musing. We could order different jets and burners for warm air units depending on the type of supply, but I didn't really get involved in the gas side of things. This rambling old man will now shut up
scorch
I wouldn't have thought so, not for a barbecue. Any other appliance, yes.
Hedganian
I just got a text message...
amateurstuntman
Nice. Just to point out though. If the thing you are cooking food on outside works by burning gas, it is not a barbecue, it is a grill. It is also wrong. Very wrong.
