DeltaZero
This is the same until VTEC kicks in! I love it! Can't wait to pick it up Thursday evening! Having a fresh MOT put on it before I collect. Then I'll get y'all some pics.
Cannonfodder80
Re cannibalism, the German cannibal Armin Meiwes was convicted of man slaughter and then murder despite having the victims consent
amateurstuntman
Is it only cannibalism if it's humans? What about other things? What about fruit? Is it then cannabananalism? That reminds me, can the forum install a "loathe" button, next to the like?
Tinkerton
You love it. Don't lie to yourself.
shmook
Stunt, you miserable sod. That was a brilliant post, aimed right for the human lol switch...
scorch
I'm buying camping accessories. This makes me happy. Though coupled with some of the other things I get delivered to work they now think I'm some kind of doomsday prepper.
Hedganian
Are you not?
hawaiianjuggernaut
Is it only cannibalism if it's humans? What about other things? What about fruit? Is it then cannabananalism? Kek'd. Posts like this are why I keep my subscription to this thread.
scorch
Are you not? Well, not really. Space constraints and the fact we don't own the house mean I can't do it properly.
DeltaZero
£470 to insure a highly modified mini for daily use under the same conditions that cost £930 to insure a diesel 1.6 fiesta... classic car insurance is awesome. And no tax. Even more awesomer!
Tinkerton
Classic insurance is best insurance. Who'd you go with?
amateurstuntman
Try looking at what a Pinzgauer costs to a 40 year old with 10+ years of no claims bonus. Also, the pun made me laugh but also hate myself for laughing.
DeltaZero
Classic insurance is best insurance. Who'd you go with? ClassicLine Insurance, small brokers in Leicester. Really friendly and knew exactly what I was talking about when I mentioned the upgrades etc. Admiral were having none of it and Adrian Flux wanted £620. The ClassicLine also includes, breakdown, abroad insurance and the usual windscreen/courtesy car. Very impressed! Try looking at what a Pinzgauer costs to a 40 year old with 10+ years of no claims bonus. Also, the pun made me laugh but also hate myself for laughing. How much are we talking? Is it outrageously expensive or stupidly cheap?
hitmanNo2
I'm guessing on the cheaper side due to the nature of how they calculate risk. There can't be that many Pinzgauers on the road, therefore less likely to make a claim
Tinkerton
yeah but equally if it ever got into an accident they'd have to immediately write the other vehicle off... nothing would survive that.
shmook
What tink said. I bet you can't nip to halfrauds for parts either in case it does get bent...
hitmanNo2
I'm not sure how much hardiness comes into play for costing them really. Just look at stuff like Volvos. They will utterly destroy the average shopping trolley in an accident and are cheap to insure. Plus the sort of military vehicles civilians are buying for *suitcases* and giggles will be older stuff so could be covered under classic car policies.
Mike_West
Just look at stuff like Volvos. They will utterly destroy the average shopping trolley in an accident and are cheap to insure. Heh, after my stepdad totaled his Corsa, mom bought a Volvo station wagon, a V40. I find it funny now that you mention it...
scorch
Never met a corsa driver who wasn't at least a little bit of a bellend.
DeltaZero
Apprentice at work is a prime example of bellendery corsa ownership! Apparently a loud exhaust makes it fast?
shmook
They are standard issue for chavs over here. I'll echo what scorch said!
Habakure
Hate (or love) to be that guy, but every girl I've gone out with, who had a corsa, was a very pleasant and flamboyant individual. By flamboyant, I of course mean sexual predator.
hitmanNo2
Maybe a bit different for girl Corsa drivers. I'm guessing their cars didn't look like they'd covered them in epoxy and then drove through a Halfords.
Hedganian
They make decent driving school cars, though, although I preferred learning in the Ford my instructor upgraded to about halfway through my lessons, due to it having a higher trim level and being more comfortable. Mind you, this was back in the late 90s...
