Habakure
Really? I've never had that conversation wth a woman I was inviting over (the whole date rape aspect, which could be assumed because alcohol is in the room. Would have thought people like that would be more devious and hide it in a cup of tea or something). My date movie was always Ghostbusters. Only one girl friend I went out wth didn't like Ghostbusters. Definitely an ice breaker that movie.
FireKnife
Ghostbusters is an awesome movie that everyone should at least get a laugh out of though. And as for that type of conversation I have had it a grand total of once and it basically lead to "yeah, sorry but no this is not going to work if that is the conclusion you jump to straight away" given that it was more a flat out accusation than just a kind of wary comment. But saying that you probably get the flip side too where a person would just go "awesome" and drink the lot, making the night worse too. Hard to judge how a person is going to be until you get them in that situation really. 'FireKnife'
DarkLite
Just recieved a set of the repro NVA tiger stripe, in my size! The repro stuff is rare as rocking horse *suitcase*, and I had a boonie in it but nothing else. So to find a set in my size for less than 20 quid makes me happy in the pantaloons. I could have always gone for the real stuff, but it's all faded as hell and midget sized. I am a happy.
amateurstuntman
Ghostbusters is good, Groundhog Day is better.
FireKnife
I would put them about the same. Bill Murray can hold a film in his own right but Aykroyd and Ramis add a lot to the party. Also for some reason I have an urge to watch Caddyshack and possibly Airplane! (so films that were let down by awful sequels, must add Ghostbusters to that then). Plus it is Friday, tomorrow is Mardi Gras time in Edinburgh and the weather is going to be 'pleasant'. Can't say better than that. 'FireKnife'
darkchild130
I don't like ghostbusters. Didn't even like it as a kid. But I had seen the terminator about a dozen times by the time I was 5. Explains a lot.

Explains a lot. Each to their own. However I was one of those kids that never really watched anything I wasn't old enough for until I was about 12-13. At the point however I caught up on everything I had missed and Terminator 2 was one of the first 15s I had seen. It was such an awesome film. 'FireKnife'
Skarclaw
Terminator 1 is the best terminator film.
Habakure
I knew how to use the video player at an early age and would watch pirated movies quite a lot (terminator, highlander and aliens were my favourite). In the summer holidays when I had to stay in (long story short, to keep an eye on my nan), I would wait till my nan fell asleep then put a movie on. Odd fact; E.T. scared the living day lights out of me but Aliens, Terminator and Highlander didn't. I'd jump at certain points but t never made me feel scared. Edit: yeah, terminator 1 is the best. I really like T2, but the first is the best. I remember getting Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (The Movie), on pirated VHS, and it had the cut scene in it (Micheangelos nunchuck scene), I was well made up. Like a fat kid in McDonalds. Habakure
Hate how they changed the pistol noise (hardballer is it, long slide 45 with laser sighting) in Terminator. Maybe it's sounds much more realistic now but I prefer the old sound. Even on my UMD copy it has the new sound. Wonder if Cameron will buy back the terminator rights when they come up it if he'll not bother do to his Avatar sequels. Edit: the question is, do you sell the Wii and make a profit? Tw1tch
Well everything seems normal at work. If anything the amount of poking and teasing has increased. And it'll probably be ice cream instead, partially to poke fun at her burned tongue but also its delicous. Good things are fine as the rest of the shift is proving very stressful as someone cocked up the rota and they sent too many people home. Need someone to tease.
FireKnife
If anything the amount of poking and teasing has increased. Shouldn't you be working and not screweing poking and teasing . So i got this out of an arcade machine on holiday. It cost me €1. I'll give you £30 posted for it . Terminator 1 is the best terminator film. I still say 2, had more to it (though needs to be the extended version). However it is a given that 3 is awful and 4 was just all over the place. Though talking about E.T. has reminded me of all the E.T. knockoffs (half of which are badly done porn, one even made last year) and how I never want to see anything from them again. One of these E.T. copies called Badi actually urinated smoke due to a badly done scene with the smoke machine . EDIT: As to what really made me laugh today, remembering that there is an Italian version of Batman out there, it is a cheaply done porno and it features some of the most funny, non-sex scenes in a porn . Gunmane
Even with the Wii's online down, I still think it would be a better option then most consoles now. It's Wii U equivalent is still the most played out of what I have of the latest series. All this talk of girls and relationships is sadly going over my head. If I went on a tirade though, Stunt would punch a wall in. As for the MRAP, I thought we had not produced a ton of them, but I just read up, and apparently there were so many produced that either we are trying to toss them to other countries or actively destroy them. Ah, the craziness that is the American defense budget. Dat Cow though, I do not even know how to describe how fluffy it looks.

I still don't think that tops some of the original film but true it is the one good joke. Damn it, now I actually want to watch Ghostbusters. 'FireKnife'

I'll have you know I work damn hard, harder than any of the staff, management have said so themselves. Hence why when they sent all the staff barring myself home at 11 this morning and I was stuck with five managers the place didn't fall to pieces. I almost *fruitcage* did, but thanks to someone I could be stupid with a few seconds each time I was in the kitchen we got through it. I have banana milkshake
sandstorm
What made me smile? Well, I finally got off the computer and took my bicycle for a spin today. Nothing fancy, mid-line hybrid that makes all the single-speed and road racer snobs puke on sight. Haven't found my trip meter since the time I had to pack my apartment up for plumbing reworks, so I have only a 'ballpark' estimate on the distance, around 30 kilometers or so. No speed estimates either, but at least I was out and riding.
amateurstuntman
Love it. I was out the other day, dropped a guy on a local hill, his Specialized Roubaix carbon bike Vs my sexy 13Kg chunk of steel. I was feeling totally awesome about it but then I got annihilated by a guy on an alloy Carrera. I always love stuff like that, £3000 bike 50p legs.
