ShinSeiki
Hello, guys, i own a STAR AW.338, and i notice the stock "stock" can be a bit heavy and cumbersome for urban sites, i would love to fit an M700 stock in it and then i could just change the stock, change the mag (to lower FPS) and be good to go, so my question is this, will an M700 stock fit the AW.338? I am willing to break out the dremmel, although i'm no DIY genius or anything like that. So what do you guys think? is it possible? is it worth pursuing or should i just get a cheap boltie to fill the role?
BigAl
Very unlikely, The .338 AI is one big mother of a gun so I doubt the receiver will fit in a standard Remmy Stock.

That is what i thought, too bad though, maybe i'll get a cheap stock that i can destroy without guilt, one can dream...
W1dget
Something to keep in mind, mag height means everything for the ARES gas system. if its even 1mm lower fps just disappearsas the striker doesnt depress the valve all the way. Good luck though
Bane
Rem 700 long action stocks, Should theoretically fit just fine as the Rem 700 long is what they built the .338 out of anyway
