Real Active Duty SEAL’s Although it wasn’t planed, ACT of VALOR Contains real Active duty SEAL’s. Originally with SEAL’s were on set as just advisors, but filmmakers soon realized that no actors could realistically portray or physically fill the roles required and so actual SEALs were then drafted into the film. The SEALs will remain anonymous, as none of their names appear in the film's credits.The film opened in the US at the top of the box office, earning $24,700,000 in its first weekend with Audience reactions highly positive this is the must see big screen movie of 2012. Making of ACT of VALOR Filming took place in Cambodia, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Ukraine, Florida, a bar in San Diego, and the John C. Stennis Space Center in Mississippi. The crew filmed at Navy training sites to provide realistic settings, such as a drug cartel base, a terrorist camp on an isolated island, and a smuggler's yacht Surprisingly Cinematographer Shane Hurlbut used Canon EOS 5D Mark II cameras entirely with Zeiss ZE and Panavision Primo lenses. Hurlbut used the different lenses mounted on the SEAL's helmets to capture their point of view as well was used as a stake cam so a truck could drive over it. Providing wicked footage of HALO jumps, room-clearing, and explosions in this Action packed thrilling drama of the SEAL teams chase around the world to get a head of the terrorist plot.
