wazzy1013 Posted May 17, 2012 Report Share Posted May 17, 2012 well i really want to take a plundge into getting a pistol; and was stuck b/t a 1911 & a p226, but w/ the release of the new AS operator kit, i think im going toward the 1911 (as its ambi possible as im a left). My big Q is i have looked here but answers seem to be sparatic; w/ the rail attachment onthe bottom of teh operator 1911 kit just release, will it fit properly into a Blackhawk Serpa holster, or will i need to go a differ route w/ a rail attachment bottom (otherwise ill be getting my hands on a Nova kit as i know where they are in stock). mrcheetos Posted June 5, 2012 Report Share Posted June 5, 2012 If the rail is a physical part of the lower frame, and not attached via screw or the slide release, it will fit a 1911 serpa. Worst case scenario, you can always walk into a sporting/hunting store, and buy a serpa. If it doesn't fit, you can always return it. Link to post Share on other sites
