airsofttactician226
Picked this up a while ago for my M4 AEG, I wasn't aware that MagPul PTS made one at the time, but anyway here is a quick review. I bought a clone MS2 along with this as I though they would go nicely together. The A.S.A.P clone came in clear plastic, stapled together at the top with a piece of black cardboard with the Building Fire logo. Taking it out of the pack there were no surprises so I went ahead and installed it on my AEG (which is a JG M4A1) with no problems. Some pictures: Overview Pros + Around half the price of the PTS version (Cheap!) + Decent quality metal (doesn't get too rusty or crack) + Does the same job as the PTS version Cons - Not painted (metal on metal = scratchy noises and friction & light grey colour stands out) - Rattles about a lot (especially when not attached to a sling) - 180 degree swivelling doesn't work with stock fully collapsed Conclusion Erm, well I checked around most major websites and I couldn't find these anymore- even ACMGear now has the genuine PTS version! So they might not be in production anymore, but if you find one for sale used or something you know what to expect. They're pretty decent for the price, but the PTS one is probably worth the extra $10.
intinerious
PTS probably cracked down on the clones, hence you don't see them anymore Owning a PTS version I'd say the cons of the ASAP is also the same with the PTS version albeit the metal isn't painted on the PTS either, it seems to have a rough anodization coating on it. From the pics you posted yours seem to have a smoother surface than my PTS one
