Mauser Kar98 / TM VSR conversion.

Time has come for me to part with old faithful.

 

Some of you will have been on the receiving end of this, but that was many moon ago, and I no longer have the time to dedicate to specific WW2 airsofting so I could do with the funds for other projects (toying with the idea of a gas SVD).

 

(Don't worry, I'm not leaving the fold completely. I'm keeping my gear, and I can just use my LTR if the need arises).

 

 

So we have for sale, my Kar98.

 

Customised by myself.

 

Consists of:

1x Tokyo Marui VSR Pro-Sniper.

Full Laylax internals,

Zero Trigger + Piston

Laylax bearing spring guide,

Laylax Teflon Cylinder,

Cylinder head.

Laylax 6.03 Tightbore Barrel (555mm)

NineBall hop rubber.

M150 Spring, shooting just shy of 500fps.

Hop arm modded to allow hopping of heavy ammo (currently set on 0.4's)

 

Real Steel parts:

Kar98 stock (inter-war),

trigger guard,

banding,

cleaning rod

foresight.

 

These parts alone are incredibly difficult to source

 

Repro Leather Sling.

 

3-9x40 Scope with faux extension (wrapped in hessian to hide it's modernity).

Repro Side Mounted Scope rings. (fully removable). These are as rare as rocking horse poop now.

 

Bolt Handle made to resemble a Kar98 one.

 

Comes with ONE magazine.

 

She is old, but has been well looked after and used very occasionally.

 

Shoots nice and reliably, solidly built, slick bolt pull, certainly good for those who like to act as a Sniper or DMR, and want something that little different. I've taken many a Yankey scalp with this little baby. Takes down quite simply, much in the same way as the normal VSR. Hop is adjusted by taking off the upper hand guard, so no accidentally knocking the lever.

Shame to see her go, but now's not the time for wall hangers.

 

 

 

No splits or swaps (unless its for a brand new WE SVD with some mags and a POSP scope)

 

Usual Skirmishers Defences apply.
