Cephas
Hi guys just posting up a review I did for the TAG Banshee Rifle Plate Carrier. Any comments appreciated. God bless. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rQC44173Gds
Shadow Nugz
Is TAG military grade or is it just high end airsoft? On their page it says LAPD approved or something to that effect. Also would it be worth it to just entirely cut off a magazine pouch instead of snipping off the sides? Would the loss of a magazine be worth the increased ability to pull them out faster? Edited October 11, 2012 by Shadow Nugz
ollie_ty
Military Grade. I'd say cutting the sides out is a MUCH better idea. the sides of the Kangaroo are plenty sturdy for the mod that Cephas has done. Remember that the material will loosen with time. Cephas
Ollie is correct. After leaving the magazines in the kangaroo pouch over time it does loosen up. So when you need to do a reload it is easy enough to pull out but not so easy, that when moving dynamically, that your magazines you fly out.
Gigueand
OP: What's your height and weight? edit: nevermind, answered in video: 5'7", 145. Anyone have any recommendations for a better hydration + storage solution for this PC given that the EI MAP won't work well for it? pa_mick
My MAP pack works fine with my Banshee PC. It does 'sag' over a bit which I easily fixed with a couple of zip ties to bring the bottom of the pack close to the PC to give it a clean 'tight' look, also so it doesn't snag on anything. Anabellj87
Nice to see someone with a small frame that can fit something lol I shall keep this one in mind. Thanks for the review dude
bentheairsoftman
I had one and fitted me fine but could only fit 3 ar-15 mags on the front and i wanted 4 so decided to change to a bigger plate carrier. In terms of comfort it was one of the comfiest ive ever warn. Would recommend to anyone wanting a small quick plate carrier. Which is what i want now !
biscuitninja
Want one of these in black v.badly - but it appears getting them into the UK is an absolute *albartroth*. I'm not paying the frankly ludicrous $70+ shipping on one, plus import & customs and the only retailer I could find who *did* stock them now no longer does due to issues with TAG. Anyone know where it's possible to pick one up over here? Or, alternatively has a black one for sale?
GhostWolf
Tell me about it I want one in Ranger Green just as badly, why oh why wont UK stockist get decent kit in like this. Edited June 2, 2013 by GhostWolf
Shardik
They often do but at a hugely inflated price
biscuitninja
Shardik - where? I'd be happy to pay a slightly inflated price, over ordering one from the US with a stupid $60-70 shipping rate...
hitmanNo2
You know $60-70 is how much it costs right? It's a pretty bulky item. I doubt you could post an armour carrier for less across the world. The chances are, even taking into account postage, it will be cheaper than in the UK.

Amazing how certain Hong Kong companies can post full rig set ups across the world for nothing? Edited June 6, 2013 by GhostWolf

Huge not slightly Also as far as I am aware you can not get the TAG banshee in the UK. My comment was regarding Gucci kit in general being well overpriced in the UK for the most part. ollie_ty
Honestly there isnt that much wasted space in the box it comes in. The postage is what it is, either pay it and get a Banshee, or buy something similar.
akiraspeedstar
Seems they'll also be more expensive very soon according to Shellback Tactical.
