icarus3815
That was a cracking shotty! Right up to the point you shot me with it in a dark room
Kenworth W900
...then it became a 'f**king shotty!'
ollie_ty
I dont think any site is going to allow you to Blind Fire mate. But the recording side of it is a great idea!
W1dget
I dont think any site is going to allow you to Blind Fire mate. How is it blind firing if you can see? Just using a camera instead of sticking your head round the corner.
judgeman
So work in progress I guess. I'm flying by the seat of my pantaloons on this one. WIP WE Hipower to Browning MK III-ish Hipower. Hammer is as of this time 90% complete. I will update rather infrequently as this is expensive and I make slave wages.
ollie_ty
How is it blind firing if you can see? Just using a camera instead of sticking your head round the corner. This is another classic airsoft argument. Essentially, you're not actually presenting a target to fire back on. You cant really be suppressed, Its plain unfair. I wouldnt allow that. If I were a marshall.
Im going space
Most sites define blind fire a shooting over/around cover without a presentable traget behind said weapon.
jimmiroquai
Posted up my entry: http://www.arniesairsoft.co.uk/forums/index.php?/topic/207749-fg42-build/

vorpalbunnie
Jimmi that looks amazing! Ok, after seeing these first couple entries, all I can say is voting will be impossible Can we vote for everything?
Clot
Just thought I would put up a wee teaser of my first project, the first part of it. Its obvious what it is... The 2nd part which, which the parts are en route is a home made cascade NV scope...........
renegadecow
I'll just dump these two here. Lack of sleep is bringing out... stranger things in me. Who knows, maybe they'll help inspire someone to make an entry.
renegadecow
And then there were three:
Kenworth W900
Keep up the good work everyone. I'm glad to see that you have taken the opportunity to use this thread to add various odds and ends of discussion, ideas and build updates as I intended. However, don't forget that for those who have not done so already, you may create your own specific thread to log the progress of your custom weapon builds. I'm going to leave the following message, which is copied from what I added to the list of competitors, below too: All entrants please note: In order for all Arnies members, who will eventually be voting on your entries, to easily find, view, discuss and contribute to your custom weapons please add the tag 'ACBC' to your build threads. If you want the option of having your build threads easily cleaned up and/or edited in anyway please add it to this Competition sub-forum. With no other administrative duties I am well placed to help out if you place your build thread in the specific sub-forum.
Kenworth W900
Welcome to any members finding the competition for the first time A quick update - just wanted to say that we are 6 months into the competition now, that's half way! Just 6 months to go before voting opens on the first annual ACBC, keep those entries coming.
Tinkerton
..., i best get working...
snakebitey
Looks like the AA-12 is a no-go for the next few months at least, so instead I'm working on an old western-style revolver rifle
Mike_West
And I came up with this recently: Sure, it still needs some more GUBBINZ, and a glowy steampunk barrel device, but the general idea is here. I should be able to save some money for the Sten this month, and the raw materials shouldn't be too expensive either.
Kenworth W900
Better get a jog on if you want to join in and make an entry for this year's competition - just 4 months left until voting opens! Don't say I didn't warn you
Kenworth W900
All entrants, please note that you have just one month, yes you read that right, one month to complete your builds. The deadline for completed entries is just 4 weeks away.
Mike_West
I'll pass. Of course fate had to take a massive *suitcase* on my head via unexpected bills coming up left and right.
Kenworth W900
Fair enough, I was expecting a few projects to fall by the wayside. But it's not looking good, I think we may only end up with approx 6 entries from a possible 17. So 10 or more have given up. Far better chance at taking the prize I guess.
