elanaiba
I'm looking to value (and sell) my 1911. Its a little beaten up externally but works very well, and its very rare. I'm selling it since I'm transitioning to Glocks, which i don't like but are more common here in Romania in real steel shooting which I'm now also interested in. Pistol Western Arms SCW3 1911 Nighthawk Custom Vickers Tactical (http://www.wgcshop.com/wgc2008/main/product_detail1.php?search_From=searchItem&item=WA-PS-CWW&search=special&rs=vickers&catid=&cat=) plus 3 mags (http://www.wgcshop.com/wgc2008/main/product_detail1.php?search_From=searchItem&item=WA-MAG-CWW&search=special&rs=vickers&catid=&cat=) It's not built using a kit, it came as the Vickers, and its obviously plastic. I've taken off the grip panels and sprayed them in gray paint, 'cause I'm not playing in any desert. There are 3 mags included, and 2 of them have the feedlips changed to aftermarket ones. These are important as they prevent bb spill if you touch the bbs in the feed lips by accident, which can happen with the original http://shop.ehobbyasia.com/pgc-enhanced-separate-magazine-lip-for-wa-magazine-blue.html http://shop.ehobbyasia.com/pgc-enhanced-separate-magazine-lip-for-wa-magazine-red.html There's also one extra feed lip included, original as taken down from one of the mags. Known issues: The pistol has been used and this is easy to see. Its a collectible, but its not for hanging on the wall. Its a skirmish piece and will kill at insane ranges if treated properly. - 2 of the mags leak gas after being gassed. However, they did last me the whole Berget as in I gassed them in day 1 and I shot them after game off 3 days later. Never opened them up to check this issue as I don't shoot the pistol that much, but it got me through some IDPA matches no problem. - 1 mag will sometimes doublefeed as in shoot 2 bbs at once. Its the only mag that still has the original feed lips. It doesnt happen very often and it never happens that it doesnt shoot or jam the pistol. - All mag baseplates are cracked, but this doesn't affect their functioning in any way. - All mags have received a little boost under the bb feeding spring in the form of a piece of thick paper. This makes the slide stop work 100%. Pics below:
BigAl
Yes this is a rareish piece but in the used condition it is worth I would say around £150 - £180,
