You must be a Snickers, because you satisfy me.   Marui appears to have gone through great pains to copy some of the main features of the HK416. When using the weapon these features become obvious.

Well its arrived , and is with out hesitation the best feeling AEG I've ever held ! Yes a bold statement but I really stand by it . The feel is just amazing , the weight , and just solidness to it to

Well finally got to scurmish mine today and considering its practically new out of the box and had had probably fewer than 200 BBs thought it before today , it IS the best AEG I have ever used ! The r

I have one of the original VFC 416 from before UMAREX got involved and it is very nice but I wouldn't say any nicer than my TM, since theyve been licensed maybe they have changed but the original ones are on a par I'd say.

So from someone who has recently joined the TM416 owners club. I have a question how do you guys Attach your Slings if you use one? i am wanted to use the madbul Asap Plate but it appears that will not fit the stock tube. Anyone have any advice of fitting it or other options? I dont trust the Plastic stock mounted sling points, already heard of someones breaking.

Prometheus/Laylax do a Recoil-Shock specific sling plate; there's also a replica of a GG&G one that's just been released.

You can modify GBBR/RS-spec ones to fit the Recoil Shocks with a set of small files. If you do that, use some paint or similar to cover the bits you've filed down to prevent the sling plate rusting into place.

I thought I posted a photo of how my stock is setup. Hmm...that vfc crane stock allows for an 11.1v 1200mah 25c lipo to be used. I am however only running a 7.4v 1200mah 25c lipo.

Actually, I posted a video of how my gun is setup. It should be somewhere in the previous pages.

Edit: I might have posted the YouTube video on the sopmod thread. Lol.

Nice review and defiantly pleasing to see some decent pictures that are actually in focus!

The only thing that as said is a pain is the battery, if TM had designed this to perform the same as some of the high mAh battery's out there it would be very useful. Having to get conversion kits is a bit backwards IMO.

Today I took my brand new hk416 into the fields. Range is almost 40meter with 0.25...I have experienced that the trigger is blocked once.in SEMI mode I have to switch from safe to fullauto..In addition the bolt release is not smooth -> I have to use little force and you can hear a "click"

Does some have this issue?

With my first generation TM Recoil (M4A1 Sopmod) I would occasionally get lock up when trying to rapidly fire in single shot. Usually nearer the end of the day. (battery getting low)

Switching to full auto and giving a short blast usually cleared it, temporarily, and the rifle could continue firing in single shot.

Upgrading the stock 8.4v battery to a 9.6v battery cured the problem.
