Gunnman
Restoring a pair of S&W combat grips for my v-comp. These are genuine and they can cost as much as the Tanaka that I am putting 'em on. The grips are Goncalo Alves, verrrry exotic hard wood that has a superb grain and consistency: But, as you can see S&W really uglied the up with a heavy dose of lacquer. I started using 60 grit sandpaper and worked up to 1000 grit for an hour removing the original lacquer. Then I spent another hour using 1000 grit to 1800 grit wet sandpaper trying to expose the beautiful grain of the Goncalo Alves, when I was finished, I applied Minwax clear-gloss Polyurethane to get that 'pop' from the hard wood. Left side applied first coat of polyurethane: Will update soon.

MODDAN
My google-fu is not quite up to par, so I've decided to ask the kind hive-mind here on Arnies:If one needs a replacement slide stop for a KSC M945, where would one look? Preferably two, if one where to loose it again.
Bostitch
My new vfc m&p compared to my RS one. Trades are pretty nice, but I wish they were deeper and more crisp (though that could be because of the tan paint). I'm debating stripping it and cerakoting it black to two-tone it like my real one.
