SunnyUSAF
I have had good luck gluing TM plastic with Tenax 7R liquid plastic welder. It melts the plastic to form the bond, unlike cement which acts like morter between bricks to hold the parts together. I have used several types of liquid plastic welder (IPS Weld-On, Testors Liquid cement, and several others), but Tenax 7R seems to provide the strongest bond. Hope this helps. Try at a well stocked Hobby Shop.
Kenworth W900
Since you're in the UK, try 'Swan PVC Cement'. Thats the stuff I use for all my builds. Ridiculously strong bonds from it. Type it in on Google, you'll find it at various places, I get mine off Ebay (about £2-3 a can)
Im going space
Either or of the above. I used to use stuff called "liquid Cement" that melted the two surfaces together.
