akiraspeedstar
Now you don't have to worry about VFC internals, though G&Ps also need some work. http://www.tokyo-model.com.hk/shop/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=129&products_id=9976
hitmanNo2
From the posts over on GGI. This appears to be a VFC /G&P hybrid.
hwagan
That'd be my guess, G&P have never made any kind of HK416 before. Still, if it's the WA system it'll be easier to get parts at least. *edit* WA based IAR would also be nice.
L2E
So who is going to be the test subject? Someone needs to get one so the mystery will be solved as to if anything was modified and what G&P internals are used. I vote akiraspeedstar...
akiraspeedstar
I do have my bonus and tax returns coming soon.....but then my wife would kill me haha. My friend is looking into buying one, unfortunately he already "purchased" one from ehobbyasia a while back but it went out of stock and he's been waiting for a while for it to come back. If he can get a refund (which ehobbyasia won't allow) then he's going to order it. That'd work out for him since he already has a decent amount of G&P PMAGs.
hitmanNo2
Why won't EHA refund?
akiraspeedstar
Im not sure to be honest, that's what he told me. I told him to ask again because Ive gotten a refund on an order before that I cancelled. He's telling me they'll only do credit which confuses me and is also BS. If that's the case Id file a claim with Paypal. Also that one he purchased was a VFC model, which is still out of stock to this day it seems.
seagullman
That is weird... but preferable t the vfc i guess?

If that's the case Id file a claim with Paypal. I've gotten refund from Ehobbyasia at least 5 times... one of them was for 12 Kriss Vector mags... (600 usd order?)... so... I'm 100% sure they do refund upon cancellation within reason.
cavapanther
I thought VFC and WA system are incompatible? Does anyone know how this work? If it is doable, I'm seriously considering to get a VFC MK18 and MK12, convert them to Prime/Inokatsu internals so I can use some WA mags.
TheFull9
Well TMC say it's the WA system, and the two are definitely not compatible. I've not been over to gas guns info to check out the exact details of what this has in common with a VFC, but I would hope that it was as little as possible (internals wise). Not to say I'd buy one of these because I've given up trying to use WA system rifles, but hopefully G&P might now do some 41X AEGs. Those I'd like to see on the market. RacingManiac
The guesses floating around is it uses VFC FCG, but somehow adapted to work with WA mag and uses a WA bolt. Having never seen a VFC I really don't know how thats working, except that unlike WE with their trigger boxes the VFC also uses RS-like construction....Not sure what hop-up it uses though...I think one of the site(eHobby? AG?) is selling it as a Umarex too, so I guess its VFC licensed external....
PreacherMan
When you order, you can choose what happens if the order messes up or if nothing's in stock. There's separate options for give store credit and complete refund, I've done both.
cavapanther
It would be great if anyone can bring some light into this. Not that I'm interested to buy one myself, but if they have really modified a VFC body into a WA system, I am happy to replace all of my existing inokatsu and viper branded AR15 for a VFC with WA system. Wingmann
I am happy to replace all of my existing inokatsu and viper branded AR15 for a VFC with WA system. That's like selling a Mercedes to buy a Skoda...
Noveske
Saw this in a couple stores the other day. Didn't know they were an official product. Thought they were in-store mods or some sort of kit. Price point in HK is HKD3500 which is about 25% more than the regular VFC version.
DesertFox
Pretty worth it if it's basically a WA system in a VFC body. I wouldn't have to buy the VFC proprietary mags and there's plenty of aftermarket support for the WA system so it could be made into something reliable.

One of the stores I visited had a G&P PMAG in the magwell, so apparently they fit?
rvlyssup
I am happy to replace all of my existing inokatsu and viper branded AR15 for a VFC with WA system. Ummm......say what now? That last sentence is a$$ backwards.
cavapanther
It's the fustration with pro win mags that puts me off. I have like 20 of those when I previously owned two WOC. I sold them to get a viper and ino but they both have problems working with the mags.
blam360
Strange.. Ino's should work flawlessly with prowins. If I may ask what is the problem? Does it not feed properly or not fire at all?
akiraspeedstar
ehobby now carries it so i stead of asking for a refund get just bought that instead. I'll let you guys know when he gets it on the internals.
akiraspeedstar
My friend just got his in today and it actually got past customs! I"ll keep you guys updated.
L2E
I got mine as well and I am highly disappointed. I have a thread on GGi that I will be updating this weekend. Sent from my Samsung Galaxy Note
