cafemondo Posted February 18, 2013 Report Share Posted February 18, 2013 Id like to have the 249 mounted on a M2 tripod however if I do this then the boxmag wont fit, m4 magazines would be barely acceptable covered by linked rounds, however the limitations of ammo supply would be a pita and its good to be able to throw 5000 rounds down per hour. A ammo box extender sounds about right but how to do this especially if you want to be able to swivel left and right. Anyone share some thoughts or insights on this? Link to post Share on other sites

As I understand it one for power and one is a tube to feed BB's yes? I'm thinking extend those down to an army surplus ammo tin on the floor with the original box-mag inside and cover the leads/tube with inert rounds. No idea how practical this would be to do but I rekon it'd add some cool factor, and look right for a 249 being used in a static fire-support role. Link to post Share on other sites
