Ever since my nokia 3410 decided to stop turning on 'just because i went swimming with it in my pocket' i have been missing those all important texts and in-school pranks. So i have come up with an idea, why don't i ask a load of my fellow gun nuts about it ? Have any of you had any past experience or other recommendations of these or other phones. I dont want to spend much more that 100 quid... is virgin a good network? Seems to be cheap... recon Posted October 16, 2004 Report Share Posted October 16, 2004 well i would go for the motorola v220 since i own a v500 but iv seen and read about alot of phones and this seems the best. but the samsung a800 ok but its small and doesn't have a colour screen, the sendo is good with its 65,000 but the screen is small. the phillips is ok but not with a tiny screen and small buttons. but these are just my opions but the v220 is sleek, small (but not to small) and has a big screen with good quality photos Link to post Share on other sites

Not bad for a Video player / MP3 player / phone / modem / camera / video camera / video editer / etc..... It's not on CountDoom's list though. It's pretty good although don't expect anything decent from the video camera. Only about 4000 colors I think, but I don't really care bout that. It takes some pretty good pictures for a phone, just make suer it's in the "extra large" picture mode. Anyways, i am sure i can make a decision soon... i might get the sendo just because it is made in the UK and looks cool... sure it does nothing special but u know... BadAssTronaut - the only differences of the 7610 to the features list you posted are... 7610 has 8MB, not 6, 7610 has no infrared, 7610 also has MP3 Player, Megapixel camera, X-Press on covers, Free hands-free kit (included), RealPlayer (built in), and a FAST processor (faster than any other mobile phone I have personally seen so far). Everything else is as you posted. I love the 7610 and have finally found a phone I am going to stick with until it dies (which hopefully won't be for many years). Link to post Share on other sites

Can't knock the brushed aluminium finish. Saw something the other day about Samsung bringing out a new mobile with a 5 megapixel digicam on it Although of course the lens'll be naff.
