Krydel
If you're not shaking a BB bottle like a maraca directly in the face of an enemy at point blank range or loading bb's directly into the hop unit and holding them there with your thumb, you have too many mags. Darkstrike
Honestly I'm surprised everyone uses so many bbs lol. I use only gas guns and so only real caps for me. I have 6, 30 tound m4 mags and 4 pistol mags and it's rare that I go through more then 2 rifle mags per game.
Azubi
Depends what your game consists of. A 'game' might be 10 minutes capture the flag or it might be a 9 day hump through the woods conducting ambushes and raids, or any other number of game types and lengths. Boom3r
Hey. HEY. It's called a dynamic stroll, I'll have you know. Or a tactical bimble. Primary If I'm carrying an M4 5 mids in total, with my ERG 7 x60rds and for the AK 5 73 rd locaps. TBH I probably only use 3 mids in a full day. Secondary 1 in sidearm and 2 in pouches. G&P Stoner for fun.
Feyd
Someone laughed at me for carrying 5 pistol mags at one site... Until they called a single shot game, everyone put down their main rifles, I was one of the only players that didn't run out of ammo!
Bando
yeah ive run through the mall with 8 Tm m9 mags they weigh a ton lol atm im going to be trying 8 50 round Uzi mags for my m4 (yeah you read that right)
Thechom
I can carry 6 mags on my pc, two more loaded in the rifle (g36) but, I'm shifting to light belt kit with 4 mags, cos I just don't use that much ammo...
FireKnife
For me it is now either: 7x 65rd MP5K mid-caps (little 15rd real steel shaped ones). 7x 25rd TM 1911 ones (loaded to 21rds, because why not). Either way that seems to be enough for me while keeping my belt rig balanced. 'FireKnife'
Wild_XIII
Running GHK G5 mags adds a stupid amount of weight. I've got 7 (6 on the rig, 1 in the gun) and it feels heavier than running my 249! That also gives me just under 300 rounds. Saying that though, last weekend I did, I went through a total of 5 mags. Many ambushes were had!
Sagittarius26
It depends on where I'm playing. At Woodland sites, I'd expect that you have more mags, whereas with CQB/Urban sites you'd have less. But to answer the question I think more than 10 mags would be too much. I carry either 3 or 6 (plus one in the gun).
Hardcore1-6
At GZ NAE I ran two guns - AK 74u with 4 midcaps and then my 416 with 4 UGL grenades and 6 midcaps. Usually I'll just have the 416 and mags/nades for that.Total of about 1200ish rounds and I burnt through both on each day. I only fire single shot or bursts while moving for suppression. mamba17
Currently I have 5 450 rounder ICS hicaps, 2 G&G 450 rounder hicaps, and 10 G&P midcaps (M4's). I only carry 2 hi caps last time I played and I'll carry on. I use 5 midcaps on Milsim days.
