Has anyone used one with the ASCHU (gesundheit) yet? I want PTW features without a PTW

eWell it has been a long wait. I had the Spectre some time ago for testing but life had its own plan and really did not have the time. Now I managed to get some free time and the first thing on my lis

Airlab ( probably the fastest shipping and one of the best internals suppliers) in the UK will have the Spectres in stock in 2 weeks time. Id go for one of them   http://www.air-lab.co.uk/products/

Just installed it....Fits perfectly in my G&P gearbox, ...installation was piece of cake...even for someone like me :)

This is like a 7 in 1 upgrade, love the firing modes...only....Can someone please explain the digital fuse for me??? Don't know what setting I need to put it on? Never used it before so...

I use a 7.4 lipo 1600 mAh 25C and a lonex A2 titan if that helps???

First test "in anger" today.

Having the Spectre installed in the MP5 meant I was able to run with a collapsible stock and the advantages that offers. Several times throughout the day I was able to get in firing positions that would otherwise have been impossible. The compact length and light weight meant I was more mobile than almost everyone else who were running M4's. It also afforded me the ability to easily sling it on my back for crawling forward into postions with my MK23 for a bit of silent death.

The overall responsiveness of the motor (a standard TM EG760) and pointability meant that there were a number of instances where I suddenly came face to face with the enemy at 10m or less and was able to outshoot them due to faster shots on target. I also had an occasion where two enemy came out of a doorway I was covering at 90 degrees to me and I was able to drop each of them with a 3rd burst in under a second. I know for a fact that on the non-spectred MP5 of old I would have been lucky to get one before the other shot me.

I had semi and 3rd burst programmed and was running lowcaps, and the 3 rnd burst was brilliant for CQB snap shooting where fast movement/reactions are involved and people don't always register a lone hit.

In summary, the difference was night and day and I had a cracking day's play. I strongly suggest picking one of these up and taking advantage of the in gearbox feature to try a collapsible/shorter gun. If you've been living on M4's for a while, the change might surprise you.

If i understand this correctly does it means i could install it in my G&G SCAR-L , if i remove the deans plug and solder to the connectors that lead to the cabling in the stock ?

In short, yes. I recently installed 2 Spectres into 2 VFC Scars which required a similar thing, 3 cables into 2 at the back of the gearbox, connecting to a regular 2 wire arrangement, then connector.

To anyone browsing this thread and thinking " this is enough i should i buy one?" DO IT. With a stock Gearbox and a SHS High Torque Motor today running on a humble 9.6v , i got accused of using full auto inside buildings. Of course  it was semi auto ( didnt use full auto once! ) - the combination of awesome trigger response and the hair trigger that the Chimera MK II and Spectre give you of the box amek semi ridiculously fast :)

Im afraid you cannot pre-order. Just keeping checking that link every 4 days or so until they have a more precise estimate. Or you could contact them on their facebook page ( https://www.facebook.com/AirlabAirsoft?fref=ts ) and ask them nicely to set you one aside or take your money now via paypal and ship one straight away when they get in. very decent bunch of chaps from what i hear so that could be likely.

In terms of shipping , i ordered my Chimera around 12:00 on a monday and i received it 9:30 on the tuesday - A.K.A bloody decent - but i live in the UK. Taking into account you live in Belgium , id guess a week at the very most.

Haha - that pun really made me smile :)

Vids like this make me go hmmmm - maybe.

But then there are plenty more of these around...

and that thread was pretty much the death of it for me.

So yeh. From what i have read on various forums if you can manage to cram in the wiring and still manage to not destroy the very fragile sensor and switch assembly in the Hop unit then yes it will work. Wouldn't risk it though!

U could buy a TM recoil AR for half the price of a ptw and get the same feature ;)

BTC Spectres have arrived in the UK ! They are on sale for £95 plus shipping , and should be on the website now to buy - FB says they have been on sale since 8pm on Tuesday.

According to a thread on Airsoft Mechanics this is the Spectre for TM Next Gen guns running in a SCAR. If true that would mean the development process must be well advanced.

The loooooooong wait for this to come out has almost made me give up on my recoil gun. But every time I think 'I'm just going to get a PTW (again)' another teaser or snippet of info pops-up and I decide to wait a few more weeks…

Back on topic, Eagle 6 have the Spectre for V2 guns in stock for £89…
