Danger Mouse
I have recently bought the ASW 338LM and I took it out skirmishing this weekend and found the it kept jamming. On closer inspection I found the cause to be the loading slider, the BB was getting wedged in between the two sides of the slider. I wanted to ask if any one knew about an aftermarket version of the loading slider which is more durable because it is just made out of flimsy plastic? Any input would be appreciated. wolfgeorge
As far as I know there are no metal replacement parts for that part. But you can make one with the help of a machinist. Wolf
ShinSeiki
I have no access to machine shops, so i just end up scavaging for a close enough part and dremmel it to fit.
Danger Mouse
After taking the thing apart and putting it back together at least 10 times, I've managed to get it loading consistently. I basically just oiled the slider right up, wiped away all the excess then after about 10 shots it was working like a beaut! So it'll do untill I can find a replacement or upgrade for the part Cheers for the input. Ill upload some pictures within the next couple of days Bull
