renegadecow
It's only $590 despite the low production run and the amount of new stuff they had to design for it. I guess it's not so bad after all the gripes.
PureSilver
Whether that $590 represents an OK deal or a total rip-off depends entirely on what it looks like, and we can't see that until they release an official photo. This is a mostly cosmetic modification, after all.
Desert.Express
At least it has the correct name and not "Thunder"..so it should be fully licensed.
renegadecow
Not quite. Real one's OTs-14 or OC-14. This one's called HTs-14, the "H" probably standing for Hephaestus.
Horsem4n
its up on redwolf now too for the same price on pre order. they have their own host of photos, so id imagine that they both have production samples. http://www.redwolfairsoft.com/redwolf/airsoft/GBB_Rifles_SMGs_Hephaustus_Hephaestus_HTS_14_GBB.htm my weird mind is already thinking about converting it into a daytonagun... 0ii235
Does anyone have any word of aftermarket part compatibility? Resting both hands on that forward grip does not seem too comfortable. If it's possible to re-outfit it with a longer barrel, and a launcher seen in some photos of the RS, that seems like it would provide a much more comfortable and stable place to hold it. By god it has a queer charm to it, though. I'd love to own one of these but at a $590 pre-order some friends/family won't be seeing any gifts this holiday season
renegadecow
The launcher on the OTs-14 is unique as much as it looks similar to your typical GP25/30 launchers. It is a complete front assembly replacement part for the OTs-14 as the trigger for both the rifle and launcher is integrated into one with a selector lever to switch between the two. Also, it seems they really don't care much for correcting that awful carry handle angle.
0ii235
Bah, I completely failed to notice how "integrated" that integrated launcher is. I suppose a big fat suppressor would have to suffice. I saw the fore-grip version of the weapon and imo it looks god awful.
hwagan
Mac-10/11 style webbing strap somewhere on the front maybe? I'm sure it could be done, and it'd suit the look of the thing quite well..
AliceHKfan
I see that Redwolf has preorders for this now...
Typewriter
This gun looks retarded. Pretty useful, maybe, but it's still fugly.
