bobthebuilder Posted September 28, 2013 Report Share Posted September 28, 2013 I've decided that my lovely shiny new G&G FS51 could do with some kind of optic. However, previous experience has taught me that the low profile of the rails on the G&G provided claw mounts won't work with all optics. So far I know that ACOGs won't fit, and the 551 style holosight will. Does anyone know what other options will fit? obviously I could go out and buy another mount, but I'd rather not, as I suspect most top rails will share the same issue to a greater or lesser degree. Warning Posted September 29, 2013 Report Share Posted September 29, 2013 I've got one of the old (I think it was ICS) mounts for the mp5, which you could turn the other way and it'd mount on to a G3 and I'm pretty sure and acog and eotech sight would fit and work but some times the view is slightly obscured by the front iron sight.
