Tanaka/KJW M700 fibreglass stocks

Hi to all,

I have been doing some researching lately on the possibility of aftermarket stocks for the M700 series of rifles by both Tanaka and KJW and for some reason have drawn a complete blank, with exception of a rather expensive stock that seems to be best known for snapping at the grip.

This lead me to wondering if there was perhaps a requirement/desire for different stock options for these rifles, for example Mcmillan A series or Manners stocks.

It also lead me to wonder whether my knowledge of composites and working with composites could perhaps be used to fill this gap with a far lower priced and hopefully better quality aftermarket stock option in one of the above styles, but not identical for obvious reasons.

My main questions here therefore are:

1) Is this something that you as airsofters would like to see and;

2) If so, what particular styles and features would you like to see?

So far, this project seems feasible, largely based on demand and ideas put forwards. Equally of course, if there is a reason that you think this a terrible idea, then by all means share your opinion too.

Cheers,

Corkie
