Zereck
My favorite pistol is the FNP/FNX-45 tactical so this thread made me excited...until I saw the picture. It is a real steel for sure as it doesn't have an orange flash hider/barrel end. Also its just looks too damn good. And I have doubts that only Airsplat got to see a GBB replica and no other company or reporter even mentioned it. So either they show some pics of the replica soon or I call ! swtim255
The badge holder is given out by DiamondBack to anyone, so unless you can see the paper badge in it, no telling. The orange stripe across the bottom of the badge means "exibitor", so he works a booth at the show I did not get a chance to walk all the airsoft booths at SHOT, but did pass by the FN booth, from what I remember that looks like thier carpet and booth layout. Found a pic of FN's booth http://www.tacticalfanboy.com/2014/01/17/shot-show-2014-fnh-fn-15/
DesertFox
It's blowback but not gas
NonEx
What does that even mean ? Are you serious that it's airsoft or are you just joking and that is an RS FN ? I'll take an FNX CO2 if that's what you mean.
pkm200901
Yeah, it's real. He's *fruitcage* with you.

Zereck
I don't think it even got to the stage where Inokatsu were quoting a price. The pistol was certainly never released and as far as I know apart from the promotional poster it was never seen online or in the wild. Inokatsu's external quality means that it's almost impossible to say whether the pistol pictured in that poster was a GBB or RS, which means we don't know how far along the development process it got. So why does that promo pic say FN-P9 when it is obviously an FNP(or X)-45?

Dj_komodo
showing off the new m&p (wrong topic, i know!) but forward it to 2.48, could be something... or not. keeping my hopes up!
PureSilver
So why does that promo pic say FN-P9 when it is obviously an FNP(or X)-45? I'm sorry, I'm not sure I understand. You're saying that the gun in the photo is not an FNP/X-9, but an FNP/X-45? What lead you to that conclusion?
NonEx
Funny there is a post on Arms-Cool referencing the same pic as in DesertFox' post claiming it to be a CO2 model. Then again Google translate isn't all thet reliable so not sure what it says or means. But yeah that Palco video clip might give some more credability to this post from AirSplat but who knows. hitmanNo2
The grip texture is different on the 9mm and .45 models isn't it? I don't think I've ever seen an FNP9 with the texture in that Ino photo.
NonEx
Just from Googling the different models I find that they are all pretty similar FNP-9 Source: http://www.fnherstal.com/primary-menu/products-capabilities/handguns/general/product/263/295/263/5/_/fnpTM-40.html (bottom of page) FNX-9 Source: http://www.calguns.net/calgunforum/showthread.php?t=247304 (#10) FNX-45 Source: http://www.thefirearmblog.com/blog/2012/12/04/new-fn-fnx-45-pistol/ (Inokatsu) FN-P9 Source: http://s562.photobucket.com/user/Firefly0/media/Stuff/FNP9-A.jpg.html I am not that into the FN models so maybe I got it wrong from a simple Google check. You also have to take into account that FN most likely update their model line-up design over time so a, for example (theoretical) a 2008 model FNP-9 might not look like a 2011 model FNP-9. And some models are scrapped and replaced with others etc. Hmm. Wondering about the FNP-9 vs FNX-9 pictures above as they seem awfully similar but a lot of Google pics gave me that result. The even older FNP-9 looks like a Glock 17 GEN1
hitmanNo2
A good point. It seems a lot of the pics of FNP-9s have the older grip texture.
WTF?Shane
Haven't heard much about Palco, but if the VFC M&P is in the video, then possibly VFC manufacturing the FNX???

When I looked up pics of the FNP-9 they looked different than Inokatsu's so I assumed it was a .45 version because of the looks, but I guess I saw some older versions of the 9mm. Downslide
Looks like the real FNX to me. I own a real FNX tac and I have been to Shot Show in 2013, I recall the FNH booth being set up like that with the blue floor pattern. Also there are not that many major airsoft booths at Shot Show only KWA, G&G, ICS, Elite Force. There aren't any ACM companies that go to Shot Show and I highly doubt Airsplat has their own booth. As a real FNX tac owner I want nothing more than an airsoft version but I don't think this is it. {SNIP} Right there with you brother. I would love to have an airsoft FNX-45 for my kit, for training and muscle memory.

NonEx
Thank *fruitcage* for that. I came in here expecting a troll post and going bananas over more fake info. But that is something for sure. Looks like a CO2 bumper magazine fore sure though. KJW OEM purrhaps? Just throwing it out there. EDIT: Google pics tell me there are RS FNX magazines with that bumper so. I won't comment on details since it's only a prototype, but this could be nice! Sais "COMING SOON!" I hope it's like, tomorrow. But since it's a prototype I am guessing summer or fall at best. Thanks for the post. EDIT: OK running the comments post in Google translate. Power (FPS/J): No info since it's a prototype. Gas or CO2: Gas! Replies from Cybergun. EDIT: For those without FB; [PROTOTYPE] FN Herstal X45. Coming soon ! #airsoft #softair #cybergun #fn #fnh #fnhusa #x45 #guns #gunporn #gunsdaily #weapon #weaponsdaily #worldairsoft — with Fly Softair.
