It is modified from WE SM8 system, thus it takes WE mags. I ended up selling my TM GBB MP7 after one game use... the more I looked at it the more I couldn't stand it... so this is great news, although from the brief reviews I've read of the SMG8... Yeah, boo to companies exercising their right to profit from their hard work on behalf of their investors and shareholders! from the brief reviews I've read of the SMG8...
