Butter18c
Where can I find the green that comes on the military aug? I want to get some of that spray paint so I can paint my civvy version. I would like it to be the exact same green too. Anyone know where to find this? What kind of spray paint would I use Krylon? I am kind of looking in WhiteFeathers direction... Holmes
Well, Krylon makes an extensive line of spray pain, so I would look through them and compare to a picture.
Romanowski
Well, Krylon makes an extensive line of spray pain Wow! I didnt know pain came in spry can form! Is this the fabled "can of whoopass"?
DrJackal
I did the exact same thing as you wanted to do. The closest thing I could find was Krylon's line of camo paint. I used their OD green and I like the way it came out.
Butter18c
Anyone happen to know what type to use? The Plastic? General?
Prometheus
Use "Krylon Fusion". Bonds to plastic on a molecular level so it will never come off...no wear and tear on this thing...paint wise. ~P
Butter18c
OK thanks
Psaldorn
How does Krylon react to more Krylon if you decide to change colours? I presume it will bond with itself and look ok.. just curious.
Prometheus
Yeah. I am pretty sure it will just cover up the old paintjob without noticable buildup. Thats the way normal spraypaint works. ~P
WhiteFeather
If your going to use Krylon Paints, get the Ultra Flat Camoflauge line of paints. A can of OD cost about $5 USD at Ace Hardware, if your in the UK ask Havoc where he bought his.
Tripod
Yup Krylod OD ultra flat gives a nice dark OD green. It came out real nice on my pistol.
Butter18c
AUG color?
Holmes
Hm, canned pain. I think I have a serious opporitunity here. You're gonna have to go look at the colors for yourself to see. Looking at the colour on a computer is too odd because of the contrast factor.
