aac
Hello members, For my MK18 project, in ACBC i will (try to) make the Knight's Armament Company 300/600m Back Up Iron Sight's. I've haven't seen these thing's ever in real life. So here my question, who has them, and can/wil give me some feedback ?
WTF?Shane
What did you want to know? I like it because it is adjustable for windage and elevation and it has a small overall size compared to a MaTech sight. The only problems I see are that the aperture is only the small 'peep hole' type and that the adjusting sleeve of the sight will wear the finish on the firearm when in the folded position. aac
thank's for your fast reply What do i want to know? how they feel, when your handeling them. More precise, now -the elevation of the rear one, does this turn with "click's" (ball-spring system) smooth, or sturdy ? the windage the same question ?. then the flip up/down of the entire sight, is there a "click" and moves this one easy or "heavy" ? -For the front one kinda same question's lot's of difficult questions he ! WTF?Shane
Yes, the elevation adjustment sleeve and windage knob has some sort of detent and it is very sturdy. The sight also has a large bar detent across the sight base that holds very well in the raised and stowed positions and non locking.
