torva_lupus
Hi everyone, I am looking to buy a G36C GBB because I love the design of it but I am looking hard to find a decent model, any ideas? Thank you in advance.

hwagan
Ollie nailed it. The WE is a great piece of kit. However, read the review thread on these boards (all of it, seriously, every damn page) and you'll get a better idea of what to look out for, how to maintain it, what bits can go wrong and how to fix known issues. HardcoreCook
All is said what has to be said. In all of WE's models, the G39 series are the best so far. The stock internals are pretty decent, but they'll eventually break down. Keep an eye out for RA-Tech replacement parts, those are good and maybe you'll like their Negative Pressure Adjustment System (NPAS) which allows you to adjust your FPS. 3vi1-D4n
From a techie's perspective, the WE designed the SCAR with much better internals, even though I have a WE G39E. Internally SCAR vs G39: - Better stable Barrel Trunnion vs a Wobbly barrel Trunnion - Steel outer barrel vs Aluminium outer barrel - Bearings on bolt carrier riding in an aluminium upper vs Pot metal bolt carrier riding on a plastic receiver - More stable magwell vs wobbly mag well (leads to FPS inconsistency) G39 has better ergonomics but the SCAR is solid and reliable. G39C has better cold weather operating efficiency, though SCAR isn't too bad either. G39C has cr@ppy magazine housing, SCAR can take v1/v2/v2.5 (20rnd)/V3 polymer AR mags which are darn good. ollie_ty
Amen about the mag part. I wish WE would have designed the bottom of the shells better (And maybe added some sort of texture to the exterior)

ShinSeiki
I agree with dan, if you can do without it being a G36, i would recomend the SCAR, only reason i sold mine was because of the v1 mags, stay away from those...
bankz5152
Wobbly magwell? Seriously mine was FAR more solid than any SCAR or M4.
3vi1-D4n
Pull the magazine backwards with a bit of pressure, or rest the mag on the ground during firing. On even with new G39s the tilt of the magazine is enough to make the G39 to drop 30-40fps, or decrease blowback strength, or improperly cycle. There are fixes for that of course. fishkabob
The WE is great. Just make sure that you know how to properly maintain it.
hudsons89
We is also pretty good but consider this, I have a 10 year old TM G36C, it still has all its original parts (not battery) and works like I just took it out of the box.
Stuey
Not GBB though is it?
