ED-SKaR Posted August 30, 2014 Report Share Posted August 30, 2014 I suppose that it's done by springs, with a recoil spring as we would understand but also a "blowback spring" that is much stronger. When you pull the trigger, you compress the "blowback spring", when the trigger breaks the stronger spring overcomes the weaker recoil spring and pushes the slide back, at the rear position the "blowback spring" is disconnected from the slide and the recoil spring returns the slide to battery.
