Are the magazines secure enough to wear during a skirmish? If not, is there any way of modifying the pouches to get a more secure fit on tm 1911 mags? FireKnife Posted August 29, 2014 Report Share Posted August 29, 2014 I have both a handmade one for TM mags and some leather and Fobus ones for real steel. They hold TM mags very well and I have yet to drop a mag with normal running and diving about. As to making them more secure you could have them cover more surface area by making them taller pouches but really TM 1911 mags work well with just about any real steel pouches.
