Dj_komodo
Thanks a lot:) I used fosco spraypaint. US olive 1942 & Wehrmacht Dunkel Gelb. It was the closest to the original colours i could find:) Edited December 24, 2014 by Dj_komodo
DeltaZero
Pretty spot on from the looks of it bro! Really really nice!

chas
paintjob done... Did you strip off the original paint first?
Dj_komodo
No, just painted over it, 3 layers with a few hours in-between...
Zereck
So I finally got my pistol on Christmas. I also bought 2 additional magazines. Two things: The mag came with the pistol on its bottom doesn't have a spring holder unlike the other two. One of the two plus magazines was leaking at the bottom. So I took it off and this is what I got: Great assembly there...
vildtyr
DAT QC!
AG1212
Welp looks like I'll hold off on spare mags. Hey it could be worse, the screws for the baseplate could be completely stuck leaving you unable to fix a leaky mag...
Zereck
Well I managed to fix it by gluing the rubber against the magazine's wall where it is supposed to be. I had to cut off a bit of the rubber where it was tore as it become stretched. Fortunately it doesn't leak anymore.
tyguy94920
Wow, I got a real job and too busy to post. Sorry guys, but hey I did a thing As for a little RS and Cybergun comparison, had to take out the mag release. Left is Cybergun, right is RS. The springs are cross compatible, and the mag releases fit, but as you can see they will not function Edited January 1, 2015 by tyguy94920
AG1212
What did you use to paint the slide? On another note, this video shows that the stock FNX has some pretty good range even stock:
DeltaZero
Pretty sure that's a RS FNX45 I know he has a black RS FNX..
NonEx
If that black FNX 45 is RS then I will remove my like for that post
Im going space
gonna throw a question out there, its not FNX per-se, this bloody osprey, how in the hell do i take the thread out to swap it? the black bit with the teeth isnt threaded and just spins?
XON50
You have to buy the ace1 arms osprey tool to adjust it. It comes in a pack with adapters for -14mm and a -16mm. I got mine for $13.
Im going space
In the video they just unscrew it. I have the kit on the way, i just wanted to nose around the can (and maybe just retap the current 14mm to 16) Surely its doable with normal tools?
XON50
I have 2 Ospreys and since they were pretty expensive, I didn't wanna risk breaking them. I'd advise just to wait for your kit to come.
Im going space
Yup. Dont got access to a 16mm tap either so wait it will
tyguy94920
I used Rustoleum to do the slide, it looks like trash so I need to buy some Duracoat rattle can. Did the frame in Forest Green Rit Dye, it's too dark of a green so I may redo it.
Dj_komodo
like the others said, there is no reason to open it until you get the 16mm threads... But yea, you can do it with some simple tools...
Im going space
Wouldve let me measure up the tracer bits too.
