ninja master of coffee
Having recently moved house my gf has discovered her eye protection has gone missing. Does anyone have any suggestions for reasonably narrow fitting shooting glasses? Preferably with a clear lens and mesh is out of the question. Cheers!
ninja master of coffee
Just realised I've posted this in completely the wrong section. Hazards of posting while on a phone.. Mods please move to gear discussion sections. Apologies and thanks.
shmook
Boulle did some, I got a pair for a friend with a pea head. No idea what model though, or if they are still made, sorry
ninja master of coffee
I have a feeling her old ones were bolle' so that would make sense. Might have to check a hardware store and see if they have any for sale. Cheers!
shmook
No worries, sorry I can't help further
ninja master of coffee
No worries. Found a cheap pair of ANSI rated safety glasses that will do for the moment. I'm going to look up something better in the long run.
Dacascos
ESS do a range of ballistics for asian people thus some much wider fitting and some much more narrow and thin nosed. Not the cheapest but but they're great quality. May help Edited October 11, 2014 by Dacascos
ninja master of coffee
Yes I use ESS ICE myself and I've generally been really impressed with them (very clear optics, resistant to fogging up). That said the wire in one of the arms of mine has puncture through the rubber. Temporarily fixed with electrical tape but I'll need to source some new arms.
Dacascos
I'll have a look at work for you dude, we get them issued but normally thee solid rail type but there 'may' bbe some older wire ones in the many cubby holes at work. No promises but I'll have a look around
ninja master of coffee
Ah cheers! I'm guessing the new type don't fit onto the older lenses? Edited October 11, 2014 by ninja master of coffee
Dacascos
The ones we have like I say are solid (ABS) rails and arms so I doubt it. I'll have a peek tomorrow at mine when I run to work to get my training gear but iirc the lenses are all one piece covering both sides
Dacascos
This is the type we have issued but i think i have seen some of the metal ones with the rubber arm covers
ninja master of coffee
That's quite an extensive redesign then. Mine are this type http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/like/281386698415?limghlpsr=true&hlpv=2&ops=true&viphx=1&hlpht=true&lpid=108&device=c&adtype=pla&crdt=0&ff3=1&ff11=ICEP3.0.0-L&ff12=67&ff13=80&ff14=108 Also ESS do a narrow version of the ICE 2.4 called the ICE NARO (very clever). Dacascos
Hey not just a clever name huh We get Revision ballistic goggles too, same design think they do a slim range too. We opted for the open type not the closed hahaha As said let me have a peak cos I'm sure I've seen some
