My VFC 416. Please sup it up :)

I have a vfc 416cqb,  I like the externals, but want a lot more from it in terms of performance.  This is probably the holly grail questions, more range, more consistency.

It's going to be my winter project, so I have some time.

Right now it shoots 300 fps.

I was thinking of increasing the barrel length to about 407mm or 455mm max.

Other than that… its fair game for suggestions.  I run lipo 11.1's, no mosfet (yet).

Appreciate your time.

Thanks

First off, welcome. Furthermore, I would suggest lay off the 11,1 lipo's on a stock replica without mosfet. 7,4 25-50 discharge should be fine, but that's just me.

Hopup chamber and nub/bucking upgrades are a better start than just increasing barrel length by the way. I run a 300mm Lonex 6,03mm barrel with a Pro-win chamber and Prometheus purple bucking and nub in mine. Just barrel length is rather useless if you keep everything else stock.

My 2c.

This was a suggestion given to me.

I am not 100% familiar with the brands /  quality.

IRF3034 based FET with TVS Diode
SHS 14T Piston
Lonex POM Piston Head
SHS Cylinder head
70D Sorbo Pad with Neo Pad
SHS Tappet Plate
-New motor (optional)

Labour:
-installation of parts
-reshim of bevel gear
-AoE corrected
-piston rack glued in
-air nozzle retapered
-mechbox modified for internal FET install
-complete rewire + FET installation
-deans plugs added

As for the barrel group, Prometheus barrels are considered the best. It includes tuning, testing, and a complete reseal involving the hop up rubber being tied to the barrel. Prometheus bridge tensioners need to be modded for use.

Prometheus barrel, cost depends on length
Lonex Hop up Unit
Modify Flat Hop (soft)
Prometheus Bridge Tensioner

I would like a second opinion to make sure I'm heading down the right direction :)

Thanks
