Cryptkeeper
Hi there, My Desert Warrior Mag doesnt "fall" when i press the mag release of the pistol. In order to get the mag out i need to press the mag release and at the same time pull it. I have a long 1911a1 mag that works perfectly. This issue only occurs when the slide is all the way back. What could be the problem ? Cheers

Cryptkeeper
At first i did thought about that but then i decided to give the pistol an decent cleaning and it started working properly again.
Cryptkeeper
mag sides had swelled slightly? I'm already considering that -.-' Can this really happen ? It worked fine but it happened again, the mag release is pressed and the mag wont fall imediatly!
Revengeful_Lobster
The Desert Warrior can be picky about mags. The MEU mags work flawlessly and will just slide out like butter, but MEU mags are apparently not made anymore (C'mon, TM, what the hell?). I have a chrome 1911 Government mag that works, but it's a tight fit and doesn't slide out without coaxing.
renegadecow
Can this really happen ? On their 1911 and some other mags, yes if left under the sun.
Cryptkeeper
The mag in question is a MEU. It worked fine until yesterday but now here it goes again... i have another one, a long mag classic 1911 that works perfectly. How can i correct this "issue"?
Wingman
Are there any scratches on the magazine body sides?
Cryptkeeper
Nope. No scratches at tall. If the slide is all the way back like finished shooting a mag of bb's this problem occur but if the slide is in is normal position it falls normaly.
renegadecow
Maybe the feed lips are snagging against the loading arm of the nozzle?
