FAL Israeli wood

Long story short I reworked my RS L1A1 and had my Israeli wood furniture left over.

I headed off to the hardware store and bought some all thread, nuts, bolts, washers, and some tube.

Brazed a nut onto the end of the threaded rod.

Twirled it around on a grinder to clean it up some as well as tapered it so it would get sucked into the reciever.

What I did next was cut the tube to length, and bolted the stock on.

Screwed on my home made butt plate because at the time (2012) I couldn't find a source for the Israeli butt plate.

I already ran a router through the origional stock hole to use a swivel from a Rhodesian stock.

The handguards required a small bit of bending of the rear mounting tang.

And that's how you put wood onto your Chinese FAL clone.
