Revengeful_Lobster
I have a Guarder "special custom" magazine...the one that looks like a real Glock mag with the accurate bumper and everything. I've been having a huge amount of trouble with it. With the stock valve it will only allow a small amount of gas in. I tried putting in a WE fill valve and it won't let gas in at all, it just spits all the gas back at my hand. I know it's not a problem with the WE valve because I put the exact same valve in a KJW mag and it works perfectly fine. Has anyone gotten it to work?
NonEx
I got 4 of them now, tested 1 so far and it worked perfectly. What I do is let in 0.5s worth of gas, dump it out to cool off the magazine and then it takes a full fill. This is when y our mag and gas are at the same ambient temperatures, which creatues some kind of pressure problem after the initial small fill.
Revengeful_Lobster
Is this with the WE fill valve and propane/green gas?
NonEx
Nope, stock Guarder Glock 19 custom magazine and green gas.
Revengeful_Lobster
Have you ever tried it with 134a?
NonEx
Nope.
vilerk
Try removing the silent fill o-ring, like TM fill valves, and see if that changes anything.
Revengeful_Lobster
There only appears to be one O-ring. Is that what you're referring to?
vilerk
If it is a direct copy of a Stark mag, then you'll need to take apart the fill valve, then remove the "nipple". The o ring should be lodged inside the center hole of the valve body.
Revengeful_Lobster
Oh I know what you're talking about now. I saw that but don't know how to disassemble the fill valve.
vilerk
It's simple, you'll just need a flat head screwdriver and a pair of pliers. Grip the cylindrical part with the pliers and stick the flat head in the slot, then twist counterclockwise.
Revengeful_Lobster
That seems to have worked. I'll have to wait until tomorrow to shoot it but the mag released a lot more gas than it has before when I hit the release valve. Now I just need to get a new gasket so it will mesh with the nozzle properly.
