chas
Bit pricey for a gimmick, but it's nice to see brands taking risks. http://shop.ehobbyasia.com/mugen-fire-custom-chainsaw-zombie-killer-conversion-kit-for-a-k-m249-1.html#.VfvrSrcVhpo http://shop.ehobbyasia.com/mugen-fire-custom-chainsaw-zombie-killer-conversion-kit-for-ares-lmg.html#.VfvrTrcVhpo BTW: this exist in the RS world. I believe KAC made it as a promotion stunt for their LMG. http://www.weaponscache.com/forum/gallery/files/2/5/2009shotshow-01162009-006.jpg http://www.imfdb.org/images/thumb/d/db/KAC_ChainSAW.jpg/400px-KAC_ChainSAW.jpg https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W2H2peoX174
TheFull9
Well dammit if that's not a tempting addition to my old A&K...
BigAl
Nice but if going on the A&K nearly as much as the gun!
renegadecow
*cough* 3D print *cough*
chas
Is it? Looks smoother than that. Anyway, as long as the walls are thick enough, I wouldnt worry. Ive seen 3D printed camera mounts that are subjected to a lot of force (paragliding) and they're doing just fine.
renegadecow
Meant a 3D printed version will do the exact same thing at a fraction of the price.
EOL
kit ordered.
Wingmann
If only I could find a store that knew if they have the old model with the midget sight post or the new model with the proper tall one...
TheFull9
Nice but if going on the A&K nearly as much as the gun! I thought that was pretty much the norm in airsoft?
uscmCorps
Meant a 3D printed version will do the exact same thing at a fraction of the price.I always find it odd when someone would say something like this. Especially from someone like yourself that innovates and designs your own products. What if someone were to come along, look at one of your previous cool guns and reproduce it in 3D printing? renegadecow
To be perfectly honest, I'd more than welcome them to it. It's when people ask me for the designs themselves (some even ask for whole complete guns) for free and then go into a tantrum when I say "sorry, no" that I get ###### off at. And it's not like they invented it or paid KAC themselves. By drawing and printing it yourself you end up doing the exact same thing as they did in the first place except they have it as cast parts. swatti
Renegadecow: would you sell your designs and for what price? I'd like an example, just out of curiosity. EDIT Maybe even more than just curiosity.
