renegadecow
Because they ditched their eagle-*rickroll* loader for some kind of lizard design?
tquilha
What I really wanto to know is: what kind of speedloader they give away with the P90? A regular one or the dil.. "Eagle" model? blobface: definitely a "Why?" moment there. Something for historians and conspiracy theorists in the future...
3vi1-D4n
Looking at the video, good thing is that the new WE P90 doesn't have a 2nd reservoir in the gun to store gas unlike the initial prototype, where the removal of magazine creates a big discharge of gas. It minimises the complexity and dependence on more O-rings. Digging it, though will wait for the RDS version to come out. Prefer simple profile over top heavy RIS profile. WE is gonna bankrupt me. renegadecow
I think it still does. He clearly shows the coupling valve on the mag when he empties it for testing and the production pics show where the valve mates. My guess is they've either reduced the volume of the expansion chamber or improved the coupling valve design so that both ends hold pressure.
3vi1-D4n
I hope not. That would make no practical sense. Will see when it gets released.
bankz5152
Up for pre-order on WGC $299.00 reasonable price! They have to have made some method of transferring the gas to it actually functions.
renegadecow
I really think the expansion chamber has its own cutoff valve. If you look at the pic below, the coupler that the mag interfaces with has a brass nipple and held in some kind of sub assembly with screws. If it were just a straight up coupler there's really no need for screws or anything. If I'm right that could mean that the gun can, in theory, be fired even with the mag out. edit: Then again that lever looking thing on the left looks like a magazine disconnect so the gun is rendered inoperable without a mag pressing it down. Pimpbot
So how long until someone makes an aftermarket RDS receiver/sight and stickers with rounds for the mags?
hitmanNo2
I would have thought WE would do a RDS variant. They already re-brand a load of optics so it wouldn't be stretch for a RDS. The usual suspects will do the stickers in no time I would think.
rusTORK
Well, for full set we need: 1. RDS; 2. Bullet stickers; 3. Laser sight; 4. Sticker for laser.
NonEx
Perhaps like the MP5 series, they will release different configuration versions? But I guess that would have been indicated on the box if that was the case?
bankz5152
Stickers do not care. They looked terrible imo in the G39. RDS Upper is what I really want, hopefully they will release it as an after market part. That or someone else will
rusTORK
I will post pics of RDS and laser sight from manual later (when return back to PC).
Skarclaw
One issue with the RDS upper would be that it would have to withstand the recoil... I've not used WE optics but most airsoft sights are a bit *suitcase*!
renegadecow
Is it wrong to want bb stickers?
NeoVeNoM
Is it wrong to want bb stickers? Why not make your own?
Cire_
*suitcase* about to start being serious. Just kinda sad it's getting cold in Sweden now tho, so won't really be able to use it outside for quite a while.
blobface
Ringsight, a company that seem to make decent P90 sights (according to real steel forums, the original sights are real pos).. it's based in the UK as well, I wonder if they sell to public, perhaps there might be an Arnies group order on the horizon.
bankz5152
If not I have a friend who works in the industry who *may* be able to order a few units. As for cold, from what I have seen so far it looks like it will perform well due to the 'bolt' being encased inside a plastic body along with the the 'closed bolt' system I have faith! hitmanNo2
I seem to recall someone on here stuck one of those Ringsights on a TM P90.
rusTORK
I just got flashback... MadBull spam me while ago. Take a look: MC-10-80 - $150 http://madbullairsoft.com/shop/en/as-real-as-it-gets/ring-sight-mc-10-80-p90-sight-62.html
blobface
I kinda want the illuminated version though.. http://www.ringsights.com/Products/sights/SightsDesc/MC-10-80-electronic.html
bankz5152
Well thats being bought soon as the RDS is out. on my phone, my spelling will suck
BioRage
This looks amazing... just hope it doesn't break after three mags. They need to do a stress test like back then with the G39.
LJ.NL
I think I'll just go for the c-more or eotech red dot option:
