Wait haha, I got this thread confused with the Cybergun 2011 double 1911 thingy :D

Now things make a bit more sense.

Yes, normal 1911 grips work but need to be modified a little bit to fit.

All that is needed is to remove some material from the bottom profile of the grips (and some around the screw hole support):

Mine are not genuine grips.

They are VZ G10 Operator grip replicas from AirsoftGlobal. http://www.airsoftglobal.com/shop/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=634_627&products_id=12499

I have since changed to the V2 version which have indentations for the thumbs on the left-hand side.

The nice things about these are that the back is hollow so the work required to fit them is minimal :)

I noticed that KWC/Cybergun has missed a detail on there entire rail gun series.

How could they forget the extractor oval on the rear right side of the slide.???

Even cheap asian 1911 copies have those.

The devil is in the details.

Disappointing :(

After reading and watching all comments and videos here.

I got a craving for one of these rather nice looking pieces, and was going to get one today. I noticed though,

that KWC/Cybergun has missed a detail on there entire rail gun series.
